We just spent the weekend at Edges Lodge and dined each night in the adjacent St Bernard's Hotel. The Lodge is gorgeous, and has everything for a great stay - beautiful atmosphere, all amenities that you could want including extremely comfortable beds and an ensuite for each of the 3 bedrooms. It is spacious with huge windows to capture the beautiful mountain and valley views, it has a lovely warming fireplace and a small waterfall right next door. The St Bernard's pub is charming and we had great dinners in there with friendly staff looking after us, as well as the company of 2 beautiful St Bernard dogs.

Where do I start.....our weekend escape to Edges Lodges exceeded all expectations.||||From the moment we arrived at St Bernard's and were welcomed by Warren and the team we immediately felt like very special guests. ||||The Lodge was outstanding from the high quality furnishings, breathtaking mountain views with the highlight being the fireplace centerpiece which made for a cosy evening absorbing the wonderful surroundings. The meal at St Bernard's on Friday was equally fantastic, I had the Lamb Shank and it was Delicious! Big thank you to the lady who looked after us for dinner and picked us up from the wine tour she was a fantastic host, very welcoming and friendly (Apologises I have forgotten her name). The breakfast provided was great it was lovely to cook this up and enjoy on the balcony with the mountain backdrop.||||Big thank you to Raymond who made sure we were relaxed and well looked after on the wine tour, he was very flexible with timings in order to ensure we made the most of our day. Mason Winery and Witch Falls winery were definitely the highlights. We spent Sunday adventuring around Curtis Falls, which is only a short distance from the Lodge so very convenient.||||Overall we had an absolutely fantastic experience and I will be highly recommend Edges Lodges to all.

Edges Lodge is easily a 5 star stay in a spectacular chalet style building nestled in rainforest at the lip of the escarpment, and bounded by it's own creek and St Bernards Waterfall.||||The building is luxuriously appointed with 3 comfortable ensuite bedrooms (each one can be selected individually), a modern fully equipped kitchen, a large dining/lounge space - looking out through a huge full height panoramic window, and a timber balcony with its own outdoor furniture also perched on the edge of a stunning view down the valley to the sea.||||We visited for my wife's 60th birthday, and had 3 wonderful nights simply relaxing, immersed in the scenery, the wonderful gardens in bloom at neighbouring St Bernards Hotel, the spectacular evening storms rolling over the mountain from the west. ||||I think the attached photos may well do better than these few words may ....||In all we would easily rate the stay at 11/10.|| ||||To quote their website introduction: ||||"Edges – A Luxury Experience||||Situated on Alpine Terrace at the edge of the Mt Tamborine escarpment and next to St Bernard's Falls, “edges”provides the ultimate holiday experience. We stayed here last weekend (a group of women for girls weekend for 3 nights) and WOW is all I can say. Fantastic property with absolutely everything you need in the chalet.. Lovely appliances, crockery, cutlery etc.. Washing machine and dryer.. Fireplace..Beautiful comfy beds.. Serene surroundings with the waterfall close by.. Stunning view out of the lounge room window.. The pub is next door so it was easy to just have a nice pub meal on one of the nights we were there.. Would stay here again. 10 out of 10..

We were a group of 6 ladies looking for a beautiful retreat for the weekend at Mt Tamborine and we found it. Honestly the house is just amazing, spectacular view, every detail is like five star. The house has 3 double bedrooms each with their own ensuite. Would highly recommend staying here.
