LOVE THIS PLACE! While working on our restoration of our trawler we have been treated really well by the locals. All the facilities have made our stay that much more comfortable. What a beautiful place.

Brilliant the way the breakwater has been made and to have vehicle access is an excellent initiative by the developers. My only gripe is there isn’t much else there. A few boating shops caters for the boaters but that’s about it.

The trades in the Shipyard very disorganised and not managed, the yard was dirty beyond believe and processes such as sanding, grinding and welding were done without respect to other boat owners, our boat was filthy when we left, and the gelcoat is spattered with metal residue from grinding and welding. I said nothing at the time when we were leaving as was only too pleased (or should I say relieved) to get out of the yard after 14 days of hell.
Two of the jobs we had done failed so had to have them redone elsewhere where we encountered professional services at significant less cost.
Alas, we never had our stay on the Marina but from the little interaction we had would say it is well managed.

Antifouling is never a nice job.....but I have to say, working on our boat at this hardstand was about as enjoyable as it could be under the circumstances whilst living aboard.
The guys were so friendly and helpful.
The marine businesses there were equally as friendly and helpful.
I will definately go back there next time!

Lovely outlook over Marina and Harbour. Nice meals.Plenty of seating inside or outside. Everything is in takeaway containers at this stage. Would be nice to have normal plates and utensils, but these are Covid times.
