Dear ZANE SPECIFICALLY, I am very upset that you don't get the staff to put the popcorn on and you don't PUT IT ON YOURSELF WHEN YOU'RE WORKING. I come here specifically for the popcorn. This is the only pub in town I know of that has popcorn and I need my FIX. Even the other venues that don't have popcorn I have more respect for because at least they don't have a popcorn machine sitting UNSUSED despite being functional. Please, all I want is popcorn. I spend a lot of money here and I deserve a proper popcorn

I don’t really want to share this place because it’s such a great secret. The food has always been great, service is awesome too. Great prices and food is always fresh and quick. So shhhh don’t let anyone else know about here or they might end up being overrun by people and we won’t get in for a feed.

Classic city pub, with welcoming staff & prompt friendly service. Even though the public bar was disappointingly empty at 8:30pm mid-week, I got the sense of a popular watering-hole for locals, with a comfortable down-to-earth atmosphere. Glad to have visited.
