Beautiful location with plenty of parking. Staff were friendly and helpful during my visit. It’s a great spot for cocktails and functions. The food is well portioned and presented well but it really lack’s flavour/seasoning.

We just had a very nice breakfast, simple, yet cooked perfectly, my poached egg, bacon, thick toast and iced coffee hit all the right spots. Reasonably priced as l got lots of bacon, the thick toast and hash browns cooked so that they were crunchy but soft.
The view of the beach from the surf clubs deck was perfect to catch the breeze and watch the waves.
Thank you we will be back, just sent some people to the surf club that were looking for breakfast along the Marina.
We needed a walk after our big feed and a walk along the Mackay Marina after breakfast is a nice way to start Sunday.

We hired the small function room for a team training day, and the service was second to none. Very friendly, professional service and delicious food.

Stood at bar for 8 minutes whilst mgr chatted to staffer; she just ignored us. Fortunately a young lady asked us if would like something whilst manager kept talking within two metres of us. We felt so invisible that we just had one drink and left to eat elsewhere.
We, being travellers have enjoyed all of the great SL Clubs and this was our worst experience. Not good enough lady mgr.

What I'm starting to realise about surf clubs is they are one of the few venues that have not sold out. I was greeted at the front door by the manager who's been here her whole life. This place hasn't been taken over by Woolworths and hasn't been sold out with pokies. It's about community spirit and serving the community. Beautiful spot with ocean views. Professional and friendly staff and management.

Sitting out on the deck this place never dissapoints, Drinks and Food is made promply and i have never had a bad steak, salad or chicken wings from here, and pricing is very good
