Firstly if I could give 10 stars I would just being pet friendly.
The beautiful lady at the front desk was so accommodating from the moment I made the booking. Nothing was a problem for her.
The rooms were immaculate and smelled so nice and fresh.
I couldn't complain about a thing.

The room was super clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. But the best part was the shower! the water flow, temperature and pressure was the best I've had!

Wow!
Where do I start?
If I could give zero star rating, I would've!
First, they charged us a second bed fee. Like what I payed the room fee, so why charge for a second bed fee.
Next, they decided to charge us $30 for a dog fee, even though I wasn't told over the phone when I booked the room.
Third, the room itself was average. Not worth the original fee, let alone with the second bed fee.
Last, there were other guests making noise most of the night, mainly permanent residents, which is sometimes the way with places like this.
Not impressed!
So, I'll never be back!

The rooms, the managers and even the other guest if you saw one where fabulous, motel was fully booked our whole stay yet we hardly seen any other guests. Everyone had their own space and you don't feel like your on parade every time you enter and exit your room which is nice. Very close to shops and in a great area of Mackay with minimal to no riff raff hanging around. Highly recommend won't be staying anywhere else when visiting Mackay

We stayed here because my partner is from Mackay and wanted to show me where she grew up. Margaret the owner was super accommodating and checked on us as we'd been stuck near Miriam Vale by an accident and had to go bush to get around she called a few times to see if we were okay. True Aussie. We chose the place because it was pet friendly we took our Pom pebbles with us on her first roadtrip She handled it really well
