We booked a function room for a work Christmas party.

We were going to do barefoot bowls, but the weather had other plans!

The room was comfortable and well appointed with Chesterfield lounges and a big tv.

The staff were super friendly and professional.

The food was plentiful and tasty - pizzas, party pies, prawn cutlets, hot chips and the like - great pub food.

Overall, a wonderful experience.

The small cans of coke cost over $5, staff are rude (particularly the older members) and facilities are run down. Only worthwhile thing in the place is the dero gaming room which is pretty hard to screw up.

The whole place attempts to portray itself as a high class sporting club when in reality they are an over-priced pokie room and alcoholic bar.

With all things said, cant wait for someone to buy out the rest of this place, knock it down and build something decent out of the land.

Chirpy Plus had a fantastic lunch yesterday. Great food, great service and lots of laughs with the staff interacting. We have already booked to go back for lunch and also play barefoot bowls next time. Can highly recommend.

Turned up for Arvo on the Green, as still advertised outside and seen via email in August. Smokers everywhere outside, cigarette butts littering the place so couldn’t put baby down. Husband ordered a drink and found out from a rude member it had been cancelled forever. Left without finishing my weird coloured lemon lime and bitters. Not family friendly at all but I wouldn’t go without a child either

Went to an event at Ipswich United sports club and I'm sorry to say I will not be returning anytime soon. The platters of food were very expensive sandwiches platter of hot food, platter of fruit. Would never suggest this club to anyone custom service was non existent.
