The new owner greet us as we walked in and we had a nice chat with her before we left. Crystal kingdom is a must to visit when you’re at Coonabarabran. Interesting collections with nice new setting with some dinosaurs that will attract children.
Don’t forget to check the roses at the front garden, we were lucky by the time we were there, they were blooming. Very beautiful!

This is the best little shop along the Newell Highway: A unique display of crystals, jewelry, minerals and fossil specimens with many gift items. Very educational and friendly staff that make you feel welcome. Don't forget to stop by when in Coonabarabran, an absolute must!

A surprising treasure,a must stop. Walk thro to the smallish museum after a gold coin donation. It shows the ancient volcanic history of the Warrumbungles and the semi-precious gems that were created. Truly incredible. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. The gift shop has a wide range of crystals to see.

So many memories from childhood visits so I immediately felt at home. Very accommodating, friendly and helpful staff. My daughter spent her well earned money on a necklace and staff were so kind and helpful and patient while she decided on her purchase. So much information and kept tidy and clean with a welcoming homey feeling.

Nice place with plenty of crystals and rocks to browse and buy in into that type of stuff. There's a fairly outdated walking exhibit (which is free) exploring the geological history of the surrounding landscape, which is fine but kids will be much more interested in the big dinosaur in the middle than reading lines upon lines of text! That text is really interesting though, so well worth the read!

The museum was so nice. She explained to us how crystals are formed and what gives them the colours.
