Dear Owner/chef

I’m reaching out because I had a really upsetting experience at your restaurant recently.

My daughter ordered a dish, and I happened to try some of it. While eating, I found a piece of plastic in the food. I’m honestly relieved that I was the one who caught it, because if my daughter had eaten it without noticing, it could have been very dangerous.

When I told one of your staff about this, they just smiled and said it was “rice paper.” That response felt dismissive and, honestly, a bit insulting. I know the difference between plastic and rice paper, and it made me even more upset that the issue wasn’t taken seriously.

I really hope this is a one-time mistake, but the way it was handled has me questioning your hygiene and customer service standards. I think an apology is the least that could be done, along with an explanation of how you’ll make sure this doesn’t happen again.

If I do not receive a satisfactory response, I will escalate this matter to the appropriate health authorities and consider sharing this experience publicly to ensure accountability.

I hope you take this issue seriously and look forward to your prompt response.

This little spot is always bustling! There’s often a lineup outside, and even on quieter days, finding an available chair or table inside can be a challenge.

With 4 spring rolls priced at $10.90 and a bowl of beef pho for $19.90, the prices are a bit higher compared to an alternative restaurant at Market Square. However, the consistent crowds suggest that this place might just be a hidden gem in Vietnamese cuisine.

A very authentic Vietnamese restaurant, phở is really tasty, fresh broth, generous portions. Bún bò Huế is definitely a must try. Fast service! There’s no need to travel overseas to get the taste of real incredible Asian food.

Whenever we passed by this place at night, we would wonder why there's always a line out the door. Now I understand. Their pho (special beef soup) is indeed phenomenal! I would go back again and again just to be comforted by their pho. It's very light but also rich, complicated in flavours but also simple. The perfect choice on a cold winter night. The portion size is huge and I had to share one bowl.

The rice paper wrap was also delish, and complimented the pho perfectly. It's fresh and well wrapped, so it's easy to eat.

The place is tiny and packed, but it whisks you back to Southeast Asia. Lightning speed service as well so no complaints here!

Definitely one of my best go to Vietnamese restaurants for Pho! Been visiting here since my uni days. Still love the special beef noodle soup. Great portion size for the price you pay! I like how the tripe and tendons are cooked well making it nice and soft to chew!

Food is superb, fresh and authentic. I have never been disappointed when dining in.

Service is friendly and accommodating.

Definitely recommend dining in. The take away stuff doesn't always travel that well.

We have frequented Rice Paper since they opened the. Ingredients are always fresh. The quality of the food has been very consistent over the years. It can get quite noisy at times when dining in. Because of this we either choose to dine in at times when it is not so busy, or we get takeaway.
If you're looking for authentic and good quality Vietnamese dishes I highly recommend.
