This place is right in the middle of everything,you’ve got the night market every night directly across the road and all the shops and restaurants very close by. The apartment itself is well maintained and and has everything that is needed. Tony the manager is very easy to get on with, and nothing is too much trouble for him 10/10

We booked this apartment( Centre point - Boutique Collections) for 4 nights originally for April/Easter 2021 travels costing us $899.00, however the 3 day snap lockdown for South East Queensland completely destroyed our plans, We cancelled our entire 8 days holidays to Cairns.||||After the lockdown was finished, we decided that instead of flying we will drive up to Cairns, this being our second drive up there and I was confident that it would be better than the first experience. ||||We phone around to book hotels, first stop being at Mackay for Sunday 4th April which was perfect, We received a room at a reasonable price. We used our credit held with a company Snap travel to pay for this.||||We rang Centre point apartments and asked them if we could book for Monday through to Thursday for 4 nights again, however we were told they could not book us for 4 nights however were happy to book for 3 nights.||||I spoke to a gentleman named Lane who said that since we had cancelled our first booking, the owners were expecting same price for as they received our booking and that the apartments for 3 nights will be charged at $900. I was shocked that Mr Lane could not understand that the cancellation was not deliberate however given the circumstances of Covid-19 lockdowns.||||I was advised to contact the booking agency and ask for a better price, I believe that Mr Lane had already advised the booking agency that the price will not be changed and they will charge us $900 for 3 nights.||||We reluctantly took the 3 nights for $900 and gave our credit card details which I was advised by Mr Lane will be charged on the day we checked in, I advised the gentleman we will be arriving very late to Cairns as we were driving and stopping at Townsville first.||||Since this accommodation has no 24 hour reception, I asked Mr Lane as how to check in that late? He said instructions will be sent via my email as how to access my keys etc.||||I checked my email multiple times while going up to Cairns however nothing was received, we arrived at Cairns very late around 10:45 pm on Monday the 5th of April, tired and wanting to just check in and settle down. ||||I pressed the door bell of the apartment however no one came to open it, I than found a mobile number on the voice message of the apartment's main telephone number, I started ringing this number which kept on going to a voice mail.||||I even sent a text message regarding instructions to check in. After few go's a lady answered the phone and gave us instruction's to fetch our keys etc.||||By time we checked in it was midnight During our stay the power of the unit went down twice, I rang the office number again and send them a text however no reply came through and no one assisted us. A neighbors husband than pointed us to the internal meter which was switched on.||||I rang Mr Lane again on Wednesday to ask for some toilet papers,coffee,sugar and change our linens plus some fresh towels. I was told by him that the room services were done after 8 days stay and that we were checking out the next day we wre not going to get the supplies.||||I became very angry and reminded him of the ignorance he had displayed by not sending the instructions to check in late and charging us $900 for 3 nights accommodation. He was no apologetic and reminded me that the company owned so many apartments they could not care about complaints. He also reminded me that some coffee/tea were provided for visitors one day when they checked in and that the accommodation chain did not provide any further coffee etc.||||This accommodation basically ripped us off by charging $900 for 3 nights instead of $899 for original price for 4 nights, I am disappointed that the consumer affairs nor any one checks on the behavior's of theses hotel chains.||||An apology form the Boutique collections would have sufficed for overcharging and rude behavior of their staff Mr Lane. Never again we will rent any of their apartments.

Beautiful, relatively new and well maintained. Our apartment had 3 bedrooms and 4 balconies with great views from each. Quiet and clean pool and undercover parking
