Clean and tidy room. The reception staff is really helpful. They were just a call away post working time. Centre city is 10-12 mins drive from the location. Enjoyed our stay. Thank you and all the best 🙂

I had some friends staying close by. They wanted to go to the pub so we walked. I have lived in Cairns for over 17 years and I have been to this pub twice now. I don't live in the area, and I don't drink and drive.

Easy check in and ample parking. Room was modern and clean enough although room 4 had a really strong, stale, milky smell that I couldn't get used to. Burnt a candle, left the door open and that didn't seem to cover it at all. It didn't ruin my stay or warrant asking for a new room, but it was quite pungent. Perhaps old vomit in the carpet or something.
Stayed at a few Nightcaps round the country and they are good value for money with the comfiest beds!

Lovely clean and comfortable room. Great location, central to where we needed to go. We had dinner at the Bistro and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. We would stay again.

Called into the Balaclava for a quick tea, on our back up to the Tablelands.
Our friend only eats gf food. They helped her with a beautiful dinner, they couldn't possibly do anymore to help her!
The boys had fish and chips, they said was nice.
The staff was wonderful!
Wasn't very busy, but it was about 8.30pm when we arrived.
Nice meals, cold drinks and nice atmosphere.

We stayed here for week in a family room and we were very impressed with our hotel, the rooms are in a gated area, so safe and secure, we had three bedrooms, beds super comfy had a good sleep, each room had it's own air conditioning unit, helps to sleep on those hot nights! A lovely kitchenette with cereal provided for breakfast and private court yard. Shopping Centre and restaurants just down the road. We had an issue when we stayed requiring us to stay in Cairns longer than we booked and the lovely management and staff went above and beyond to help us find accommodation as they were fully booked. Thank you, will definitely stay here again when travelling to Cairns.

Had dinner here on Friday night with a group of friends. The selection of wines and beer available was small but diverse. The menu was comprehensive, the servings a good size without being huge. Only complaint was the roast of the day -beef, was tough. I and a friend had a smoked salmon salad and it was delicious, another had the curry which he declared was delicious without being fiery hot and another had 'sweet lips' fish which he thoroughly enjoyed. Bar and wait staff were polite and efficient. This place is a step above usual 'pub grub', but the prices aren't.

The hotel itself is a nice relaxing atmosphere pokies ,Tab and friendly locals
Staff , WOW everybody I encountered were the most friendliest ,happiest ,helpful people ,I’ve Never encountered in one place ever just awesome humans

Food was ridiculously good, takeaway options and lunch packs for tradies just makes this place a no Brainer
Management you need to keep the people that are doing an amazing job representing your brand
Maybe a pay rise 🙏
