Loved this hostel, and it's at a reasonable price as well. They pay for a/c overnight which is nifty. We had an issue with humidity in our room when we started drying a few things- but it is a hunid place. You can tell a lot of care has been put into the place. Can't wait to stay again

There are individual 'houses' or 'cabins' each with private rooms or dorm rooms. We stayed in a private room. There is air conditioning included in private rooms. The beds were standard, and the hostel was medium noisy in the evenings but fizzled out after 10pm. The bathrooms were always clean. I get the sense a lot of 'digital nomads' stay here. The pool is nice. The front desk is manned by helpful staff who helped us book excursions. There are two sleepy dogs that are in the front desk room - so just be mindful if you are afraid/allergic to dogs. I felt safe here. ||Please put on anti-mosquito spray/liquid as we were eaten alive by mozzies when we came! ||The kitchen's were unfortunately a little overran with ants when we stayed - which put us off somewhat. But it wasn't unmanageable, as I get the vibe the kitchens are cleaned a lot - it's just somewhat inevitable that ants get in at some point!

This is a fantastic hostel. I stayed here during my first week in Oz.
Staff really lovely and making sure the hostel is kept in great condition.
Also the kind of social vibes you want, easy to meet people but not crazy party.

Nice and friendly staff who are very helpful is the highlight of this hostel. However, this hostel is quite anti social and not at all ideal for solo travellers. Have to pay to use the air con in the rooms which is a huge inconvenience when not carrying any cash or the air con runs out in the middle of the night. This would suit introverted backpacker or people after a less social hostel. It’s the only hostel I’ve used personally where we had to pay to stay after our checkout time to use the facilities before catching our flight.

Hands down the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. I’m not one to leave reviews but was so impressed that I couldn’t not. The hostel is Amazingly clean and organised with tropical travellers oasis vibes that are on point. The music and atmosphere are chilled and laidback. The staff are wonderfully helpful and informative. You can tell they have put a lot of love into this place. The owners attention for detail is evident, everything a hostel needs, they’ve thought of it. The outdoor showers are magical (tropical rainforest vibes and they light up at night.) There are a few kitchens with great facilities all in good condition. The lounge rooms and chill spots feel like a home away from home. It has a social and relaxing atmosphere but is not a party hostel so you will feel safe relaxed and have a good nights sleep. The private rooms are better than any hotel room you could get and for a lesser price. Everything you need is within walking distance and tours and rental cars can be organised with ease at reception. Thank you travellers oasis, my stay here has been like a home away from home. When I come back to Cairns I’ll definitely be staying here again.

I absolutely loved this place. The best backpackers I've been to by far. It's not a party place, it's chilled, but it does allow drinking to a reasonable hour in the evening if you want. The staff are truly lovely, and the place has a Balinese villa feel, with an open air dining area, serene fountains, outdoor showers and yoga classes run by a very nice person. The owners have clearly
thought about the small things that make a stay special, down to the guitars left around for people to strum, and the jars of chili and hundreds and thousands in the kitchen free to use. I'll definitely be back, thank you all for the nice time.

This is by far the best hostel I've ever stayed at in Australia! The place feels so homey and so relaxed. Everyone was very social and friendly and the staff is in-cre-dible! 😍

I had an amazing time during my stay at Travellers Oasis. It's such a nice hostel with a really relaxing vibe! The staff were also very helpful and friendly.
The rooms and bathrooms were all very clean and comfortable. Also there is so much space to cook in the multiple kitchens. And the highlight are the two outdoor showers. They are really amazing!
I really enjoyed my stay there! I meet some really nice people there, so if you are traveling alone it's a very good place to meet new people. If I ever come back to Cairns I will definitely stay here again!
