Hot, no pool so false advertising, air conditioner wouldn’t turn off even if the room was Antarctic cold. Hole in the shower wall, room showing its age. Not the safest locking mechanism for the door no plates or bowls if you wanna have breakfast. Definitely should’ve put a little more money into it

Stayed five nights in Oct. Convenient location 5 to 8 min easy walk to lagoon and town centre. Great city view room, clean tidy and quiet. Comfy bed and decent gym facilities. Would definitely stay here again. Note minimal undercover parking is on a first come basis however there is also above ground parking in front of some of the rooms.

Our stay at the Ramada Hotel in Cairns was a delightful experience. The hotel's tropical design and lush greenery created a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after our conference. The location was convenient, close to the Esplanade and local attractions, making it easy to explore Cairns on foot.

Room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and all the necessary amenities. The balcony overlooking the garden was a nice touch, offering a relaxing spot to enjoy the view with a morning coffee.

The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any queries or bookings. The on-site restaurant served a good selection of meals, though we found the breakfast options could have been more varied.

In summary, Ramada Cairns offers a wonderful blend of comfort, location, and tropical charm. We'd definitely recommend it for a pleasant stay in Cairns.

Friendly service in a great location with clean basic rooms however the place is getting a little run down and there was litter everywhere with other guests staying up partying with loud music on the balcony until early hours of the morningabs unfortunately once finished left all their food and drink containers behind. I felt like it was an upmarket back packers accommodation. The Chinese restaurant attached has delicious food

I can't speak highly enough, the rooms are dated but very clean. We had a small issue when we arrived, and went to reception, and was immediately sorted. The staff were brilliant, I couldn't ask for better. Central we walked everywhere, to the Wharf, the city, the esplanade, all easy walking. Dinner each night. being so close to town, great pickings of good restaurants and markets. Will definitely be back!! Apart from being dated you guys rock and are as good as the 5-star places.

Don't go to the adjoining restaurant (separate people) not a great experience, expensive, not able to sit where you like or order what you want, it's strictly the menu their way. Poor service minus- 5 stars there.

Accros the street from the Double Tree so that you can easily see a nice hotel where you wish you were staying. I am surprised that Ramada/ Wyndham would allow their name on this run down nightmare of a hotel. It is falling apart. But fortunately, it is being remodeled, so maybe 20 years from now it will be decent. I'm hapoy to report that the breakfast is excellent and the location is very close to the boardwalk and the Marina. If you did not see the plethora of bad reviews before you checked in then make sure you stay in the Tower rooms, take advantage of the good breakfast, and eat all your meals at Muddies Cafe. Maybe then you will forget your misery.

Old. Noisy. No pool, but the excuse was that we were told it was getting renovated when we made the booking, as it’s the middle of summer, we would not have stayed there if we were actually told. Bullshitters.

Convenient location. We stayed here two and a half years ago and enjoyed our stay, so we booked again. However, I suggest that there has been no maintenance done over this time. Taps drip, the bed is torn, paint peeling from the ceiling, smelly restaurant with filthy. Altogether, we're very disappointed and feel like we've been grossly overcharged.
