Fabulous location; fairly easy to find nearby paid public parking.
Lobby looks great, incredibly overwhelming (not in a good way) perfumed smell.
Staff not super enthusiastic and rushed through check-in even though I was the only guest there, seemed happy to get rid of me.
Lobby and hallways look great, high expectations for the room.
Sadly room does not meet expectations. Very tired and not very clean. Dirty marks on walls, torn curtains, basic amenities, had to move heavy bedside tables to access power points to plug in charger and iron. Only place to leave kettle plugged in was bathroom next to toilet (gag). Excellent ironing board. Lovely view from balcony unfortunately noise and hot air from outdoor aircon unit made it hard to use for long. Comfortable bed, old bedding with some holes. Pillows need to be replaced. Good selection of tea and coffee. Bathroom averagely clean and very old.
If you are looking for a great location and don’t care about your room pick here, if you want a nice and clean room, pick somewhere else.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The views from my room were incredible, with a great vantage point of the city. It’s also perfectly located, just a short walk from major attractions, shops, and restaurants, making it so easy to explore everything the city has to offer. The hotel is clean and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a convenient, well-located spot with amazing views, this is the place to be!

Fantastic location. We booked a mountain/ garden view expecting a view of woolworths but were given a room with a nice view of gardens across the road. The staff were amazing and helpful.
Pool was lovely and clean. Room was a little dated. A ceiling fan and dishwasher wouldve been nice. But just small things. Overall very impressed! Will definitely stay here again.

Not a 4 star hotel. Definitely needs some updating. The comforter feels like a burlap sack. Bedding could use some work. Bathroom and kitchen is cheap. Plastic toilet lid that would not stay on. Furnishings and kitchen supplies bare minimum. Washer/dryer was nice to have. Location was great.

Positive: -Fantastic location and a well-sized one-bedroom apartment.
The pool is spacious and a great amenity.
Conveniently close to the lagoon and only a 15-minute drive from the airport.

Negative: The apartment is extremely dated, with clear signs of wear and tear.
The microwave was not functioning properly and had to be replaced by the maintenance team.
Kitchen utilities are limited and noticeably old.

Overall Recommendation:
Mantra should consider investing in renovations, particularly updating the bathroom, replacing furniture, and modernizing the kitchen utilities to enhance the overall guest experience.

Strategic location. Near many restaurants and night markets. A decent comfy room with a balcony. There's an ashtray in the balcony so it's probably smoker friendly. The bathroom and pool are okay. But there is another nice free public pool just across the road near the coast.

The staff are nice and helpful. The 2 stars overall and 1 star service are mostly due to their $100 key/room deposit. I usually don't mind with room deposits and many hotels all around the world do this. This is usually for if we break something in the room. Here, they will take your deposit if you lose your key card, late for check out, etc. That's never happened to me, but it just feels unwelcoming. Maybe they have too many tourists that lose or break stuff, but that also happens in many other places.

My friend wanted to borrow the hotel umbrella but they asked to put an extra $100 on top of the existing one. She ended up walking in the rain just because don't want to deal with the hassle.
