Good location for all amenities. This felt more like a backpackers hostel than a 4 star hotel. We had to lug our heavy cases up and down 2 flights of stairs as no lift ( we are in our 60’s!) . Reception desk dirty, I could scrape the dirt off with my nail, it could do with a good scrub. No privacy in the room unless you close the curtains, no nets or blinds, otherwise other guests can look right into your room.Remember to take an extension cable as the only plugs are for the bedside lamps .No 24 hr reception and when we were booking out we had to go through a side gate having to pass laundry skips and the floor had rubbish on it- not a good look for a supposedly 4 star hotel. Buffet breakfast was very basic.

What an absolute ripper of a place to stay. Me and my lovely girlfriend just arrived in cairns absolutely jet lagged up to our eye balls. Completely smashed it with booking this amazing gaff for our first four nights. We’re both happy replenished and ready to keep travelling. The staff were all a complete pleasure to have met. Delightful people. In particular Charlotte on reception made our stay so special. It was my girlfriens birthday yesterday, which I mentioned to the staff. When we got in after an incredible day we were greeted by a lovely card and bottle of red which really did make the day so special for my darling girlfriend. Thank you Charlotte, thank you coral tree inn staff.

We booked Coral Tree on line and arrived at about midnight. King sized comfortable beds and nice facilities.|In the morning I requested a slightly later checkout and the woman manager refused - despite a couple of requests - refused to give even 15 minutes late checkout. |There was no hot water and the front desk knew this but did not advise customers. You just stand there waiting for hot water.|Facilities are of a good standard for the price. Maybe some customer service training might improve the experience. There are lots of accommodation options in Cairns and I wouldn't return to the Coral Tree.

Love the hotel! πŸ™‚ Just right for our small family at a great/reasonable price. Great location to walk for shops and boulevard for a refreshing view. The rooms are clean and cozy, with shared outdoor pool (my son was having a time of his life!). We went to Australia's gem - The Great Barrier Reef!! We also took leisure walk along the beach and piers. And enjoyed the free infinity pool which is open to public. Thanks for the great accommodation, we'd love to be back and explore more of Cairns.

The rooms are old but clean. It can be very noisy. There was no hot water or ironed towels during my stay. I was convinced to remain in the hotel with and offer of free breakfast (I was told that it was for the duration of my stay). Turns out: during my last day hot water came back and they changed their minds on the free breakfast and said the free breakfast was only temporary. I was eating when they kicked me out. I feel lied and cheated on considering that hot water was absent many hours even the previous day. They should really review their communication methods. Bad experience.

Me and my boyfriend had a fantastic stay at the Coral Tree Inn. ||We are from the UK and are travelling Australia for 5 weeks. The Coral Tree Inn is a perfect place to stay for travelers - it’s clean, friendly, quiet and the rooms are comfortable. Breakfast was also lovely. ||A big shout out to Charlotte on reception who helped us loads with trips, gave advice and a pleasure to speak to! A great start to our trip.

The staff at Coral Tree very accommodating. My questions were promptly answered. The breakfast buffet is fruits, toast, muffins, eggs, sausage, hash browns, yogurt , cereal an more. I appreciated having a kettle in the room and a refrigerator. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. The pool is small, but adequate for a quick dip. The lobby has a selection of books for exchanging and available games. The noise in the hallway does echo. It is a tiled floor and the sound echoes. The price was good and the location very convenient to the boardwalk. I would happily return.

Arrived early (9am) and was able to leave bags in a storeroom +/- use the pool as needed which was good. Room was ready at 2pm, instead of the usual 3pm check-in, which was nice.|Reception staff friendly and helpful. |Only 10 mins walk to centre of Cairns so pretty convenient. |Very good price (had breakfast included) for very comfortable stay in this hotel. Comfortable mattress, choice of 2 pillows each person so glad to say one was soft enough to be very comfortable, nice linens, clean room and bathroom.|Very good breakfast. Helpful staff. |Not a lot of parking at the entrance to the hotel (on site) but lots of street parking immediately outside the property which seemed safe enough for overnight parking. |Swimming pool was clean, big enough, had shade created by the hotel surrounding it on all sides.|The 6 sun loungers were not very comfortable but good enough.|The general heat of Cairns meant that the unheated pool was still relatively warm so felt a little like a bath - not super cooling on a really hot day but definitely better than not having a pool to have a swim in!|Would definitely stay there again when/if next in Cairns.
