Very Happy with our stay. ||Hotel was centrally located to all cruises and restaurants.|Room was nice and clean and view from balcony was great. Bed was comfortable, as were the pillows. Was able to have sound restful sleep, and one of the best in all the hotels we have stayed at. The pool was another fantastic area to "Cool Off".|Received exceptional service from the moment we checked in (thanks Ingrid lol), which began with a free upgrade to a Balcony room. Ingrid also went out of her way to arrange for a bottle opener from the restaurant downstairs.|Other staff also assisted by provided printed documents which I required, as well as heating up a "Heat Pack" when the guest lounge was closed.|All in all, a great stay and hotel. Highly Recommend

Thank you for a great stay. Very enjoyable stay. Staff were fantastic, very thorough. Parking is a bonus and thank you for reserving. The cleanliness was 10/10. The view up top was beautiful. Everything inside the hotel was very well designed. Never got to eat from the restaurant, but looked very good and smelt even better. Bed was very comfortable, the room space was perfect, also the pool was a great feature but never got to swim as it was crowded but it was a hot day so understandable.

Only one thing that was a concern was the shower temperature. When setting the temperature of liking it would randomly change during showering and it would go to extreme hot temperature and it did take a while for the temperature to adjust which was very annoying.

Pros:|- Staff is extremely nice and helpful.|- Close (short walk) to the pier and Esplanade|- Private lockers are available in every room, with user-set codes.|- They have an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet (price depends on room package; mine was $25 AUD).||Cons:|- Internet is abysmally slow. Sometimes even a simple webpage wouldn’t load. I couldn’t stream YouTube videos, even in 240p.|- Sheets are rough / low thread count, enough to hinder a good night’s sleep.|- The shower doesn’t have a door, so there is a constant cold draft of air.|- While they offer luggage storage (e.g, if you arrive before check-in time), all the luggage is stored in a corner of the lobby, which anyone can access.

Hotel in a great location with in minutes of the sea front shops eateries bus stn museums etc.|Cruise Ship terminal very close.|The breakfast very good buffet style all you can eat.|Room416 with balcony ok for being road side twin single beds comfy enough but for the width.|Bathroom could do with a major update. A/C update fine for temperatures we had when more hotter it wouldn't do for us.|Would i choose to stay again probably depending on price and maybe a bit earlier as well.|Watch the room door and don't let close behind pull it shut as it won't close.|the Staff where polite and friendly when speaking to them.

Beautiful hotel.|Employees at reception very polite and kind, ready to help any requirement. |I think about breakfast room (with a lot of variety), that employees are too inflexible... know that may be excursions and check out times earlier, so, there would be some kind of adaptability. I think that 6 am would be a pleasant time to open breakfast room. |In despite of this, the rooms are nice, well providead, toilet room spacious, coffee maker and selection of coffees and teas, enjoyable.|Just to return... some day in future, perhaps...

This is by far best hotel I've been to. The staff downstairs named is very helpful and came to our assistance whenever we requested. Amazing pool that I could access from my hotel room with a TV, comfy lounge chairs and very soft double beds. The blankets and pillows were very comfortable and the bathroom utilities like the supplied shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were very good. Highly recommended hotel and I would come back anytime 😊❤️

The hotel had a power outage a month ago and half the rooms lost WiFi and to date it still hasn’t been rectified. I was told the lounge has it but it’s incredibly slow. The usb sockets in the room don’t work. The fan unit in the bathroom has failed.

Pacific Hotel Cairns was clean, hotel room bright, spacious & comfortable bed, lovely pool area & great guest areas to wait in. The option of buying breakfast was a bonus. Right around the corner from Cairns Esplanade & Woolworths supermarket. Lynette on welcome desk was incredibly helpful. The lifts internally were a big help. Only negative were steps to enter the hotel with luggage & curtain didn’t block sun out in morning. Would stay again
