It's a shame, we moved from Sydney to Eagleby because of the mosque. We didn't know U can't access this mosque anymore. Send so many emails to be able to get a membership but never received an answer. This building is not for Muslim any more. Very in unthoughtful from the person who change this mosque to a centre.

This place is a joke. Apparently, you need to be a turkish or kurdish to be able to enter the mosque or get the membership. Other lowlifes aren't allowed.

PS: I had to pray outside on the road caz they didn't let me in.

This place is the former Eagleby Mosque, used to be a place of worship open to all Muslims. As it is mentioned in the website as "MEC Lifestyle Centre is a little different from the traditional places of worship and community centres", it is indeed quite different from traditional places of worship. In Islam a place of worship is deemed "Bait-ullah" or the house of God that is open to all Muslim worshiper as it used to be. For a place that boast the idea of "It was formed to ensure that the non-discriminatory philosophy " of its founder was carried out, it is actually quite the opposite and I'm left to wonder what that non discriminatory philosophy is. This place is not a traditional place of worship in the meaning that is is no longer open for worshiper and members only, in other word "Discriminatory".
2018 Ramadan my family and I was going to this "quite different place of worship" for our first Tarawih, the children was so happy welcoming the Ramadan. As soon as we arrived at this place we were told to leave. The children were asking why we were told to leave but I was lost for words. The look of their disappointment really broke my heart but I could not explain. This was the first time in my life I was told to leave from a place of worship when the intention was to worship.

It is unfortunate and disappointing that the place that was a "Bait-ullah" has been degraded into this.
