What an amazing unique and special place this is, it has to be seen to be believed.
Great stay, the best showers we have ever had!
Lovely owners and stunning wildlife.
For those complaining about bugs or internet, it’s common sense to have some spray, and just use your 4G. Kids can go exploring and use their imaginations, it’s the perfect escape.

A big thank you to Suzanne and Paul for making our stay so enjoyable! From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. They took such amazing care of our dog, Byron, while we explored Fraser Island. Receiving daily photos of Byron enjoying walks and relaxing on the couch with them made us feel completely at ease. It was clear she felt right at home, and we couldn’t have asked for better care.

The park itself is exceptional – peaceful, quiet, and beautifully maintained. The camp kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, even offering some fun games for rainy days. Suzanne and Paul also provided fantastic tips on ferries, places to visit, and things to do, which made our trip even better.

Everything was easy, and nothing was too much trouble for them. The park is in a great location, right near the gateway to Fraser Island, and it had everything we needed. We thank Suzanne and Paul so much for their hospitality and care, and we can’t wait to come back again this year!

Our 1st visit, certainly not our last. Such a beautiful part of the world. A wonderful surprise to realize not your regular caravan park, more like a farm stay with heaps of room whether a group or single site. It is so welcoming you feel like part of their family on a drop in holiday! The attention to detail makes it feel so homely, and is also so clean. I urge everyone to go stay for such a unique & colourful experience! Well done Suzanne & Paul. You have clearly worked extremely hard to produce something so beautiful. We will be back!

Worst of my life. Woke to the van infested in midges. Sheets, clothes and ourselves. We had woke up at 3am scratching and realised the state of the place when we got up. There was literally no escape. Had to leave the place asap and spent the following morning and another 40 dollars in the laundromat washing everything we had in the van and disinfecting the van. Days later I am still covered in marks. On contacting the camp the were very dismissive of my concern or issues too which was disappointing considering everything. Road down to it is completely broken up so you would have to be very careful. We arrived at night and had to drive on the grass from the road into the gate. Would avoid at all costs and will never go again needless to say

Great location, fantastic facilities. Only downside are the resident midges which were very partial to biting us. Would highly recommend using Good Riddance insect repellant as this was the only one that worked consistently for us.
Hosts were informative and helpful. The grounds were well kept.

First impressions were great until we got to the camp site. 3 groups of us booked and paid for 5 nights however left after the second night, should have left after the first but it’s a bit of a drive for 1 night. Sand flys galore! We bought every repellant you could. Candles, spray, cream, coils and nothing works. The only reason I gave 2 stars was the ammenities were nice though needed the repellant in hand for that too.
Would definitely not return.

Caravans need to be aware there is no dump point. The closest is Hervey Bay. 20min Drive.
If you are here in summer the mosquitos and midges are probably some of the worst you’ll get anywhere in Australia. They sell Good Riddance at the office but we found it was useless. You may need something stronger.
Don’t forget you can’t get in before 2:00pm
