So nice to stay at a comfortable, clean & well maintained motel after a long day of travel. A good price for one night & bonus discount if you stay 2 nights. I will use Best Western again based on my pleasant experience with this motel

Stayed at this hotel for 4 night paying over $800. Plus had to pay $200 deposit. 20 mins after checking in and storing my belongings into the hotel room. The manager had knocked on my door and falsely accused me of smoking * in his hotel. Much to his surprise I was telling the truth and he apologized for the accusation. Upon check out day. I cleaned the floors and all the rest of it. Took pictures for evidence of room when checked out. Realised i hadnt been refunded my $200. asked for my deposit refund as it hasn't been put back into my account. Manager denied paying me my deposit back and claimed that he had to pay his cleaners extra for the extra 40 mins they took to clean UNDER our beds. Which he never stated that would be a reason to withhold my full refund. I left the room clean, no damages to property upon checkout, As manager instructed. I proved I certainly wasn't smoking * in his hotel. Completed a complaints form about his customer service as he still refusing to give me my $200 deposit. Will never stay there again.

Central location just across the road from the water. The renovated room was beautiful. We got an unexpected upgrade, not that we needed the extra room/beds, but it was very nice nonetheless. Easy to book directly, will defiantly come and stay again. The staff were very friendly and helpful!

Staying at the Best Western Ambassador Motor Lodge was a pleasant surprise. Normally, we opt for places like Oaks or Ramada, but since I was only staying for one night, I decided to give Ambassador a try. My expectations were low, as I simply needed a place to sleep, but I was warmly welcomed upon check-in. The rooms exceeded expectations—clean, spacious, and comfortable. I loved the inclusion of a full size mirror! Another standout feature was the generous car park spaces, which provided plenty of room to open doors without hassle. I’ll definitely be staying here again.

Rooms are clean and fresh. Aircon takes a while to start cooling the room which is quite large. Staff at the reception are friendly. No room service.
Happy with water pressure, bath and hot water!

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Bathroom was fine and recently renovated. Close to shops and bus route. It was also quiet. You get what you pay for and it was good value. If you want a flash resort this is not for you. I recommend this property and would stay there again.

We are local to Hervey Bay area. (Toogoom and Boral)
We booked a night on line for new years so we could go have dinner and a few drinks with friends and not have to drink and drive. We where then called by the owner and he refused our booking because we are locals and all locals are trouble and said if we turned up at 2pm he would refuse us access.
He Was so rude and disrespectful towards us.

This was a nice quiet motel without the traffic going past all night. The rooms are comfortable with convenience to make small meals in your room. Undercover parking for us is a must which the Best Western has ample. The location is ideal and close to all amenities.
