What a great place to have a retreat! Service was lovely. The cabin was super clean and it had everything to make our trip comfortable. The view of the mountains is amazing, and we even got to see 7 wallabies from the cabin balcony. Amazing experience 😍

Had a lovely few days in this little piece of paradise. We stayed in Gabriel’s rest cottage and it was just beautiful. Very peaceful and relaxing. Listening to the bird song in the morning was a highlight for me. We were visited by two kookaburras who sat on our balcony. Loved seeing all the wallabies too. So happy to have found this awesome spot.

It’s the real escape to stay at the heaven in the hills. We stayed at the Gabriel’s rest, it equipped everything we needed — utensils, tea and coffee, espresso machine, bathtub, air con, TV, WiFi and shared pool. Everything feels new in the room. The surroundings was real tranquil that slows you down and helps you into the rest mode. Brad is super friendly and shared all the tips for the stay. We drink coffee at the balcony, enjoy the bath at the night. The only small not come true was seeing the full sky of stars.

Great place to stay, was special to stay in a more then 100 years old train. Very clean and authentic. New kitchen with lots of utils and different kinds of tea, coffee, breakfast.

Feels like a king to stay in the very good bed.

Beautiful walk in the (rain) forest. With a pool downhill and beautiful sights on a top.

Nice people and surely recommend this place.

Bradford, the new owner, was very welcoming. He asked for feedback to improve people’s stay.
It was great to hear it was completely off grid.
It was our first getaway with our puppy and she was at home with us and behaved beautifully. Bradford also has 2 doggies that met us on arrival. 🐾
Loved the views, the fire, the linen, Prime/Netflix if wanted, the quiet. Cooked a roast and made pancakes for brekky on the porch. Double Yum.
