Feedback should be taken seriously instead of guests being completely dismissed.

Arguing with a guest about what bed bug bites are and insisting their bites are from mosquitos and sandflies when a guest didn’t even go to the beach displays a complete lack of not only knowledge but care and sincerity.

Although the sheets are clean, blankets and old lounge suites aren’t always.

Rooms, amenities and service are fantastic. We find the 2 bedroom, self contained unit excellent in presentation and facilities. Staff are excellent! Restaurant adjacent to the swimming pool makes for a relaxing holiday. Also access to the beach is only a few minutes walk away.

What a lovely place to relax. Upon entry you are greeted by lush tropical gardens with a stream meandering through. As a family, we enjoyed looking at the large barramundi and eels that called it home. The room we stayed in was an Airbnb room. In all honesty, the kitchenette and bathroom were a bit dated (early 90’s) and could do with an upgrade, but the price was right and for that we weren’t too perturbed. Ultimately, it really is just a comfortable bed that you’re after, right?
The restaurant downstairs is lovely. The Peking Duck and Karaage Chicken was sensational. So rich and full of flavour. Everything was perfect! The fungi gnocchi not so much; it was rather bland in comparison. Towards the rear of the resort is a track that leads a way to the beach. After the 5 minute walk, you are on Four mile beach, which was delightful to walk in at sunset.

Would I stay here again? Absolutely.

Love it here. Reception were highly receptive to fixing any problems (which were very minor). Rooms were clean. Love the pool, and the big tropical plants planted and maintained amongst the water and walkways in the middle of the walk. No complaints thus far! - And I'll be updating this review if I encounter any issues over the remaining 6 days!

Overall this is a great resort. The pluses-
- Nicely refurbished rooms (not sure all have been refurbished, but we were lucky to stay in one)
- The 2 bedroom units are very spacious
- Nice gardens, well maintained
- Resturant food was good
- Easy access to Macrossan street (we had a weekly bus shuttle pass, and it was very easy)
The only downside was this is now a Wyndham resort, so you are asked at checkin to participate in a 90 minute video/discussion about becoming an "owner" ie. Timeshare. The incentive to participate is a $100 voucher (each, for anyone over 18 who participates) + 15% off food and beverage. We agreed to participate, however didn't like that they took advantage to take each party individually aside, at the end of the video/group discussion to do the "hard sell" on buying into the system. Something potential visitors need to be made aware of.

Good service and food but we have concerns 're the swimming pool. It has no lights, yet remains in use until well after dark. We sat alongside while having our dinner, hearing children in the pool next to us, and yet not being able to see anyone or anything. Desk staff were notified and promised to pass our concerns on to management.

Everything is fine with the rooms except for the fact that you have to pay $20 a DAY for Wifi in the rooms. We are one month away from 2018, have an unmanned rover on Mars sending back HD pictures, yet Wyndham can't figure out how to provide WiFi in the rooms?! It's not like I want to sit in the room all day to be on a computer, but wow, this is pathetic.

Other than that the rooms are well appointed and fine location.
