We upgraded to 1 bedroom self contained. Our experience was fine, however there was ants coming into the kitchen and bedroom. We had fun visitors, brush turkey and Paddy melons (kangaroo). I found for the price of it per day is expensive for that small of a space. The customer service is good.

I was really looking forward to this mountain top location & optimistic about the retreat upon arrival, even after I found out itās a just share house/lodge. We booked the āKing Roomā which appeared to have a nice view overlooking the valley below (according to their listingās images for āthis roomā. Upon arrival we had to call management to get the combination to access our room key (should have been sent prior to our arrival), the āKing bedā was just two singles shoved together (very uncomfortable) & nobody comes to clean the room or supply fresh towels during your stay. There was no view, just a tiny courtyard hiding behind a broken blind (which we had to cover with their room information booklet for privacy). The room has no air conditioning, only a ceiling fan, but does have its own bathroom/toilet attached (glad we didnāt have to share that). There was mould on the ceiling above the bathroom doorway and they only clean around the furniture as we discovered later when my wife moved the bedside table whilst looking for something. Who supplies a room with three bed pillows? Thereās a small hole in the wall which I can only assume is from an old door lock mechanism due to its shape.| Upon arriving I also spoke to one of the guests and the topic of breakfast was discussed. He informed me that there was none available (as stated in the little book inside the room). This was a surprise, as when I booked it was an option that Iād selected, which usually costs extra by default. I decided to call the management again, and after some discussion some items were delivered to the house. Sadly I donāt think a ācontinental breakfastā is merely bread, juice, milk & mini packs of cerealā¦.very disappointing when youāre paying high season prices.| The kitchen has most things you need, but I wasnāt expecting to have to soak and scrub off baked/fried on dried food before I even started cooking & one of the large cooktop elements doesnāt work and has a broken buttonā¦| The view was really nice from the balcony of the main house, you can see about half of Atherton, but the bushes have grown up in front of it and need a good trim. Thereās a cute little pool on the balcony, two people max, but itās clean and well maintained. Thereās an air conditioner in the main lounge room of the house, but no remote control making the house very hot in the day time (Iām pretty sure this is illegal).| Saturday night, time to have a late showerā¦.nope, the water doesnāt work at 11pm this night, not even a drip. I tried the taps in the kitchen & same result. Being stuck here for five nights over Christmas was not my idea of a good time and having my wife complain about it the whole time was even worse!| I do not recommend you bother staying here, given all of the unexpected surprises. If you are intending on staying, just remember that itās right next to the phone tower (thought I was lost the first time I came up the dirt driveway), so youāll have great reception to call the staff with your various questions and requests.

STAY AWAY !
My kids and I booked a stay at the rainforest resort in one of the bigger rooms. We were Very upset when we had to continuously keep out one year old Out of the random table that were in the lounge room Covered in spider-webs and spiders. Behind every tv was dusty and most of the Furniture was dirty. Definitely.Did not get the vibe.It would be like a conference room off the website , but it was. Really recommend not staying there , especially if you have kids. Manager had to come out and clean at eight o'clock at night. My four year old refused to sleep in the room because there was so many Spiders in there and had to sleep on an unsanitry couch. I've tried reaching out but to no avail. Would love to get my money back or have not stayed there at all.

So many bad reviews I just need to balance things up. Lovely spot, not far from the centre of Atherton but away from built up areas. Scrub turkeys getting around, lovely views.
You book - get a code texted to you at 2 pm on the day of check in, punch the code into the key dispenser (easy to find) and access your room. The rest of the facilities are shared.
Very nice, clean and comfortable. Will stay again

Wouldnāt recommend for anyone to stay here.
Wanted to book a nice night for me and my partner however the room looked nothing like the pictures and was just very sad and outdated. The view is now very obscured by trees and hardly can see it. Kindly asked for a refunded as we were better off driving and staying home (which we did after being here for 20 minutes) however was denied which we assumed would happen.
Itās just really upsetting as we are young with not a lot of money and the first Airbnb we have book before. Now we are out of pocket and instead at home.

Very very very disappointing:
1. Very uncumfortable bed.
2. 'Private bathroom's but outside the room accessed from public area
3. Large cellular antena adjusent to the property
4. Pictures are missleading ( for example, the sweeming pool is the tinyest I have ever seen in a hosting facility, abut 1x2 meters)
5. When there is a problem, the hosts responsiveness is low (takes few calling attempts to get an answer)

Lovely clean place with beautiful views. The air conditioner was freezing and no romote to change it with, had to turn it off completly using the handle of a dustpan brushAdvertised free wi-fi, had to pay $20 for 24 hours if you wanted to, even if only for an hour

This is NOT as advertised. Everything is carefully scripted to not tell the truth. It is shared accommodation in a less than average house. If you want to stay with a house full of strangers and have zero privacy, no peace and quiet ā¦.basically live like a backpacker, then this is the place for you. If you are expecting a hotel - it is not. If you are travelling for work - go somewhere else. The view does not make up for any of that. Trying to find the place is difficult, even with maps. Maybe that was my first clue to just keep driving. Getting in contact with the property when there was no code received for the lock-box was probably my second!! The bed is completely uncomfortable and I suspect Iāll wake up sore, sorry and with bites. If this doesnāt help sway you to look somewhere elseā¦.then I hope you enjoy what you can.
