This charming cafe offers a cozy atmosphere perfect for a morning visit. We were lucky to find a spot at 9 am.

The food was alright. Our order, which included a toastie and poached eggs on toast, took about 30 minutes to arrive. Hot chocolate was a bit bland.

On a brighter note, the coffee was excellent, and I would likely return for it along with their pastries. The staff was friendly and contributed to the pleasant experience.

Overall, a lovely spot for coffee and pastries 🙂

Everything is 👌. Maybe the mushrooms had too much butter and salt? It felt heavy towards the end ... But the combination of mushrooms and ricotta was amazing!!!

First time here, and all I can say is the coffee was disgusting. Truly believe a $1 service station coffee tastes better than whatever they're using at Abode. Cup size is narrow but tall, giving the illusion of a large (which it's not). So disappointing as we've wanted to try the coffee here for so long being locals for many years. We had take-away coffee because we needed to head somewhere.

My friend & I met here this morning for coffee.
We both had great coffee, earthy and robust in flavour.
My friend had the toasted Ham & Cheese Croissant. They said it was good. Fillings were generous, good quality and well paired.
I had the Mango Smoothie. Full of fruit and very good.
Always a great feel in the outdoor dining area.
It’s been a while for me and clearly under the new ownership, in very good hands.
Service was excellent.

visited Abode cafe this morning for a drink and a quick bite~ lovely outdoor and indoor seating area, really homey feel to it, lives up to its name! staff here are super friendly and nice~ we found a table quite easily as many people were just taking away~ we ordered a latte, hot choc and two plain croissants~
drinks took quite a while to come out, i would assume as many people were waiting to take away, so we wanted to drink in but had to get them in take away cups as we were running out of time
croissants were quite lovely! i heard this place freshly bakes their croissants each day! $6.5 per croissant which is a bit on the pricey side but for a freshly baked one, quite worth it!
overall quite a good experience, definitely will visit again as i peeked at other tables breakfasts and they looked so good!

BANG ON!
One of my local faves and despite the small options on their menu for brunch, their dishes are comforting and delicious.
Today I ordered the avo with peas on sourdough which I thought had good flavour, a decent portion, and was a winner! Love to see house made beans on their menu too!

I’m hoping they will source coffee beans with a depth of richness and flavour as usually their house beans are average and flat.

Always enjoy their front of house service and quick timing of the food being served.

A lovely local breakfast cafe with friendly and experienced staff. They did run out of a couple of menu items and the space inside is a little tight but the outdoor courtyard is perfect for a winter breakfast spot. The food was nice too.
