Best group of people you will ever work with!

As a member of a small volunteer community events team myself, I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with Ede Events many times. Let me tell you, they are lifesavers!

Ede Events and the team have always been an absolute pleasure to deal with. This family owned/run company has continued to operate for decades due to their professionalism and upfront detail of quotations, not to mention attention to detail. Will use again, and again.

BEWARE - Paid for equipment for an event up front. Have given just shy of 2 weeks notice that unfortunately due to event now being canceled due to sickness and family being unable to make it - Edes will not offer any refund or partial refund at all. They let me know they have had multiple enquiries on the equipment we had hired - I suggested they contact their customers back and let them know the equipment would now be available but I was told it didn’t matter and that they would still not be offering me any sort of a refund. So basically they have been paid once for the equipment and now with just under two full weeks to rehire equipment out - they shall now be getting paid twice. Even though I was not under any obligation to pay in full they will not even refund the difference between the deposit and full amount. Very disappointed in this money hungry business - look else where and do NOT pay in advance especially in these times because they will never give your money back if you have to cancel. Other hire places in Townsville we had hired from for this same now canceled event, have very graciously offered partial refunds. Disgusted, they can keep the money and their low business morals.
