Holy Red Deer Estate is an AMAZINg place and venue!! It is in a cute and lovely town and such a beautiful area! A destination wedding where you’re far enough to feel like you’re in a different place but close enough for all your family and friends to travel to! I had my wedding there -the best day of my life!! I was able to put my Pinterest inspo board to life and fully DIY and design the place how I imagined!! I had my bridal suite in the church which was stunning, ceremony outside with the arch, lawn games (Giant beer pong was so fun got to hire that out from HRDE!), reception in a clear marquee on the other side of the hall and the signing table, bubble tea bar and pic opportunities in the hall! Also heaps of incredible areas around HRDE for the wedding photoshoot! The area creates very vogue photos 🤩 The most beautiful day!! Couldn’t recommend the place more!!! The perfect place to bring your dreams to life!!!!! 🥹🤍

Holy Red Deer was the perfect venue for us to have the wedding of our dreams within budget! Originally chose the location as it was the most affordable DIY venue, had everything we needed and accommodation was all walking distance for our guests so no need to much around with buses. But we quickly fell in love with the location and realised how much more of our dreams we would achieve here. Our wedding was absolutely perfect and Michelle was so helpful leading up! All of our guests loved the venue as well.

We recently held our wedding at Holy Red Deer Estate (October 2023), and it was the most wonderful experience that we will remember forever. The venue itself is perfectly setup to host a wedding with multiple locations available for the Ceremony and Reception, not to mention a Bridal Suite, Stag Bar (for Groom), and a Cottage that slept us and all our Bridal Party, all at Holy Red Deer Estate!
The owners of this estate are fantastic as well, Michelle is completely dedicated to ensuring the Bride and Groom have the best day possible, and helped us with providing great ideas on how to setup the venue. Without Michelle's help it wouldn't have been anywhere near as good as it turned out to be.
It is no wonder why Holy Red Deer Estate are winning awards, it is certainly the best wedding venue in South East Queensland.

HRDE is the most picturesque country wedding venue with such attention to detail on every level. From the authentic vintage décor and finishing touches in every room, to the abundant supply of DIY decorations and resources such as lawn games, candles and dainty props, this is every DIY bride's dream. We absolutely loved styling the venue and making it our own. Highly recommend, particularly if you're wanting to extend the celebrations into a wedding weekend! The onsite bridal suite, guest rooms and bathrooms are all located directly onsite, which made for a very smooth and stress-free day as we transitioned from getting ready, through to ceremony and reception. And more than the beautiful property itself, Michelle and David Goodchild are the most welcoming and knowledgeable hosts, with great relationships with wedding vendors for flowers, coordination, styling, photos and more. My husband and I had the most special day, what a wedding!

We recently had our wedding there in June and I can't rate the venue highly enough. The owner Michelle is easy to contact and has lots of great suggestions for local florists and vendors. The venue itself looks beautiful even with no added decor. I love that you hire the estate out for the whole weekend so you can really immerse yourself. Cannot recommend HRDE enough! As a Wedding Planner, each wedding I've coordinated is unique, picturesque and has it's own individual touch. There are a variety of options for both your Ceremony and Reception with my favourite being under the stars and festoon lighting. Check out HRDE, it won't disappoint 🙂

Michelle you made Jaytika’s wedding planning /furniture hiring and all that went with it so much easier! You allowed us to come and walk around , plan and dream .
