A Blissful Spa Experience at Amaroo

While on holiday on the Sunshine Coast, my husband and I treated ourselves to a spa session at Amaroo, and it was pure relaxation from start to finish.

From the moment we arrived, Jennifer took exceptional care of us—she walked us through each part of the experience, ensuring we felt comfortable and at ease right away.

Even though we booked a couples package, Jennifer managed the session beautifully, allowing each of us to fully relax and enjoy our own moments of tranquility. The sauna was incredibly spacious, the leg compression boots were a soothing treat, and I even drifted off on the Shakti mat—total bliss!

Then came the massage, and it was heaven. The room was spacious, dimly lit, and perfectly calming. My therapist took the time to understand exactly what I needed, making the experience truly tailored and therapeutic.

We left feeling completely refreshed and will definitely be returning next time we’re in the area. Highly recommend!

Well… I timed my trip from the UK perfectly. Discovered this little hidden gem for a pamper session. Newly opened a few weeks ago and didn’t disappoint. Well worth a visit!
I arrived to a beautiful welcome with a herbal tea, relaxing music, lighting and spa smells.
I began with a wonderful massage from Lara who melted me into the couch taking me to that place of total relaxation but not sleep. ( something that’s hard to find being a massage therapist myself!) Amazing!
I also opted for crystal therapy which was a lovely experience to complete my massage.
Next I wore some leg compression boots which I’ve never had before that helped my circulation. It was a gentle pleasant feeling as enjoyed some nibbles and a drink.
The Shakti mat was next for 20 mins. Another new experience ( no spoilers until go and try it!) it felt good, I fell asleep!
I finished with a lovely sauna and was able to browse at the wonderful retail products which I purchased a few bits from. 😊
I was given some local fresh fruit to nibble on and ginger stem chocolate treats.
For me this was a wonderful experience and not your typical spa.. it’s different!
Everything is made with the environment in mind and it’s all locally sourced keeping small businesses going too!
Loved the overall experience, 2 hours very well worth doing .

I had a wonderful experience at Amaroo Day Spa! Lara delivered a fantastic massage that felt like a fusion of different techniques. It was relaxing yet therapeutic, exactly what I needed. I also like the atmosphere at the spa which is serene and calming, creating the perfect environment to unwind. Highly recommend Amaroo Day Spa!

I recently spent an afternoon at Amaroo Day Spa, it was a great place for some RnR the 2-hour treatment was a total renewal experience. The unique massage technique was like no other massage I have experienced (and I have had a few) a blend of massage with reiki, aromatherapy, and guided meditation.
The compression boots were an incredible touch, promoting circulation and easing fatigue (as I walk a lot) I left feeling truly relaxed, and ready for a snooze. What better if you’re feeling a bit stressed or just for some self care.

Cannot recommend the Amaroo Spa Experience session more highly. From start to finish, I was so impressed with the attention to detail. Having an entire space to relax to yourself and then a wonderful massage by the lovely Lara was just wonderful. Jenny is such a fantastic, welcoming small business owner. Her commitment to recycled materials is so refreshing and she truly cares about her clients. 10/10

What a fantastic experience. Everything Jennifer has put in place has been done with the client in mind. From the treatments on offer to the personal touch that makes it feel like you're the only person there. The atmosphere, furniture and hand made designs are the cherry on top. A massage by Lara is a must as is the Shakti Mat 👌

What a treasure! The package at Amaroo Day Spa was so full of little details and unique touches. It is like entering a wonderland of relaxation that incorporates wonderful sounds, smells, tastes and textures that makes it such an experience. The massage was easily the best that I´ve had in years.
