Dear Beet Bar
I fly to Townsville on a regular base and have always enjoyed coming to your cafe for your smoothies and banana on toast. This time I thought to have a little protein and have a poached egg. The eggs tasted delicious due to them being locally sourced. However, for the price to pay for the above photo of my breakfast, I was really disappointed. May I suggest a little green garnish or something to add to entice the eyes. I had to ask for butter as well. It would take a little more creativity. I do also understand that customers do not often eat the garnishes, but it should be a treat to eat out in a cafe and enjoy being served something you would not do at home. Just a small suggestion to bring back a little colour. Otherwise I truly enjoy your smoothies.🎶

I just visited The Beet Bar for a quick breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. I had a mocha, sweet potato fries, and a vegan falafel wrap—all of which were delicious and tasted incredibly fresh. This was my first visit, and I was impressed by the nice ambience and the spacious seating, both indoors and outdoors. The staff were professional and friendly, which added to the positive experience. They offer a wide range of options for vegetarians, non-vegetarians, and vegans, with the ability to customize based on preferences. There’s plenty of paid parking along the street, and it’s conveniently located in the CBD. I’ll definitely be visiting again!

The mango acai bowl was quite possibly the best breakfast ive ever had. For $20 I cant believe how big it was and how much quality ingredients they put into it. The vietnamese iced coffee was one of the most delicious coffees I have ever had as well. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is very welcoming and clean. 10 out of 10. Would definitely recommend

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a smile and the staff all seemed happy to be there.

Service was prompt and food was out quick, despite them being busy. We got the savoury mince & corn fritters.. Quality, flavour and freshness of food was really good 👌🏻

Great to see Vietnamese coffee on the menu!

Will definitely be back regularly & recommend to the locals!

Came here for a late brekfast, i couldnt decide what to have so i got a piece or avo on toast, and a mango weis acai bowl. Both where quiet nice the avo would of been perfect witha poached egg, the bed it was on was nice a little hard though, however super healthy and fresh ingredients. Acai bowl was a stand out for me. The staff where very loud toward the end,because they where closing the laughing was so loud it over filled the whole cafe.
