My husband's steak was good, and meals came out promptly which is pretty good considering the place was busy. However, I was disappointed that entrees came out at the same time as mains. I wouldn't have ordered an entree if I knew this would happen.

The bruschetta was dry and the burrito bowl had no beans (even though the menu stated these were included) also the menu didn't state that there was a choice between chicken or pork.

We were very disappointed with the food here. I ordered a chicken dish, which came out and was ridiculously small (and cost $29)! I was still very hungry after finishing the meal. For context - the fork in the image is a normal sized fork. Even the broccolini was tiny. The kids spaghetti bolognese was made with a very unusual mince, the kids wouldn’t touch it (very unusual for them), so we had a quick taste and it was not pleasant. My husband got the burrito bowl which was very nice, so 1/3 meals were good! The only reason I’ve given 3 stars is because the playground and venue itself are great and the service staff were lovely!

We had our daughters 21st recently here and we had a great night. The food was delicious and well priced. A big thanks to Hannah, she was fantastic to communicate with. Her and team were great. We will definitely be back for any future functions.

I had the Pulled Pork Barito Bowl and it was delicious. Service with a smile and live music made it an enjoyable way to spend a Sunday Afternoon celebrating our first anniversary as Sunny Coasters.

Very disappointed to be placing a public review. I called the Tavern and voiced my concern over the Pork Belly. I believe it may not have been cooked fully as there wasn’t any crackle on it. Pork can be dangerous if not cooked properly which I learnt at 1am the next morning when I became very ill.
The female duty manager I spoke with had all the concern I would’ve have expected and said the venue manager was on a day off and would call me on Friday to discuss the situation and that she would let the kitchen know.
Clearly that hasn’t happened, my concern was other patrons suffering the same fate I did. Looks like I’m more concerned than the venue

Absolutely brilliant food and a great service effort! My wife and I visited here after a large hike in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland and were met with a bit of a pricey menu but the food was brilliant and was brought out after only about 15 minutes! An absolutely incredible turnaround for 2 main meals and an entree.

We came for a family meal recently.
We were surprised to pay $6.20 for a lemonade from the tap (not even a bottle) in a glass filled with ice and only 3/4 full.
Ordering multiple dishes of which 3 were wrong.
1 was tiny in size, 1 was cold and the others were dry and tasteless.
The outside area is disgraceful. The bowling alley with no balls and it’s all dirty.
The ping pong tables with no balls and rotting bats.
The outdoor tables that are rusting, dirty and smell funny.
We haven’t been there in awhile but the place has really gone down hill.
Very disappointed and we won’t be back any time soon.
On the positive side it was easy to park, staff were friendly and we were able to bring our dog outside which is great!

We had our engagement party here over the weekend, the venue, staff & organizing communication were fabulous. Having no hire free because the deposit comes off food and or drinks is super awesome. Being our local and having a courtesy bus was also great for us and our guests. Sliders platters, kids and Aussie platters were a hit!
