First time out here for work in Rockie, honestly, this place is all you need. Had the meal package which included brekkie, lunch and dinner. Clean and tidy room, the meals were delicious. Bathroom were spotless! Very excellent service. Family owned, Renee and Hosea have been really patient, helpful and kind to me!

What an incredibly awful experience! I called and tried to book a room, because I was using a company credit card, the man shouted at me, then hung up on me. I am astounded at his ill manners and very upset.

Would definitely NOT RECOMMEND them.

Wi Fi in room is very poor. TV doesn't work and staf can't help..Noisy from the road. Had a dry lamb shank for dinner. Small portions of food. No recommendations.

Driving from Airlie Beach to the Gold Coast we stopped overnight in Rocky and chose this motel mostly due to the location - on the south side of town so we could make a easy exit the following morning. What we found were super friendly managers and rooms that were modern and clean. We were very happy with our choice and would recommend.

I was relieved to find this place after a long day of driving. Reception staff were very helpful and accommodating. Rooms very comfortable. BEST shower 🥰😍 hot with lots of pressure. A bit noisy at night because its on a main road but l didn't care. Wifi and Foxtel made it bearable because
sadly it was 🌧 cold and raining but apart from that a great spot. Thank you

Decided to drive to Townsville to visit family and usually I would have driven from Brisbane straight through, but once I hit Rocky I wanted to rest. Rocky Gardens was the first place I saw entering town so I stopped there. Walked in, asked if there were any available rooms, and after 5 minutes I was headed for my room. The staff were great, especially when it came time for a feed. I was told that “room service would be sent to my room, just call the restaurant and place an order”. ||Within 15 minutes the food arrived and was great. The room itself was great, no problem at all. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here and if you plan to eat, give the Homemade Rissoles a go, and the Apple Pie/tart with cream and ice cream.||I’ve only been up north once and that was with the Army, but I’ve now got family up there, so I dare say I’ll be heading up more often and Rocky Gardens will be a mandatory stop for me.

We stayed here overnight with our two kids on our way to Brisbane from Finch Hatton. The room was very clean & modern. The owner was super helpful. The restaurant was amazing! Fantastic food & service. We will definitely stay here again on our travels.

We have stayed twice, and both times have been more than pleased. The rooms are nice and modern, comfortable beds and chairs and most importantly are super dooper clean. Well stocked kitchenettes, so you can self - cater if you wish. Real milk supplied for your cuppas, undercover parking with easy access to ground floor rooms. First stay we ordered our dinner via room service was plentiful and yummy. This stay we went to the Fern Restaurant, again very clean and well presented, we had a delicious dinner served by the bubbly, friendly Hailey. If only all our motel stays could be like this!|Five * from us!
