Stayed on the way up to Mackay for Christmas, booked direct on their web site , as I do not use booking sites- most of the time the money goes overseas from them. Definitely better to book direct or phone up.
We enjoyed the stay, the room was comfortable and clean.
On the way back I booked the same unit, as it was easy for my wife, being on the ground floor.
The lady at reception was very helpful.
I have stayed in a few motels in Rocky over the years, and the Rocky Resort gets my vote now, will certainly be a returning customer!

Great service, very friendly and helpful.
Felt very safe and great locks on the room which is important to me. Room was beautiful and clean and soap smelt so lovely. Will stay again any time I’m on my way through rocky.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Has all you need when staying here and the pool is great to refresh in after a long drive! Close to aldi and the BP if you need any supplies. Reasonably priced too and the rooms are what you expect for the price too.

Checked in just before reception closed. The receptionist was very friendly & polite. Showed me through the room before paying. Room was very spacious & clean. Would definitely recommend this Motor Inn if your travelling through Rocky.

The Room was out dated. Half the ceiling lights didn't work. Management couldn't even put a bowl and spoon in the room for some cereal for breakfast. Not even a knife to cut a sandwich in half. The security latch on the door was broken and unusable. Very disappointed... would never recommend.

Absolutely not a 4-star motel. Our room upstairs was very dated and in dire need of complete makeover. Most bizarre was the power point and antenna in the ceiling above the tiny wall TV in the bedroom. The mattress was very hard - a pillow top would make it more bearable. The light switch in the bathroom is connected to the exhaust fan and during the night it is very loud when using the toilet. The aircon needed the fan on full blast to cool the room down. A few light switches not working. The front room had a lounge chair looking at a blank wall. Very strange area Restaurant only open to guests with a very limited meal selection, so opted to dine out in Rocky, but nothing close by. Would never stay again. Bonus though - did have a shower cap!
