I had the most wonderful experience with the Blush’d team on my wedding day. In the lead up to my special day I had a lot of other things going wrong and kept having dreams that my artists didn’t arrive on the day, so Liz and Ellen went out of their way to make sure I felt confident in their services in the lead up and on the day! They weren’t just my stylist/artist they were like built in besties for the day. They were professional, even when I changed my style on the day, and finished up slightly earlier which got me to the venue a few minutes early. Thank you Liz and Ellen for such a magical day!!! Xx

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with one of Blush’d Brides’ hairstylists on my wedding day. Her poor time management caused considerable delays—she was scheduled to finish my hair by 12:45 pm but did not complete it until 2:45 pm. With our ceremony starting at 3:00 pm, this left me only 15 minutes to get dressed and take pre-wedding photos. As a result, we missed nearly two hours of photography and videography, losing out on precious moments with friends and family.

What made it even worse was the complete lack of accountability from Blush’d Brides. I reached out to their admin to express my dissatisfaction, but instead of taking responsibility or offering support, they simply made excuses for the delay. To add to the frustration, the hairstylist did not work clean and left my hair—and that of my sister, mother, and friend—frizzy and unpolished. My hair is naturally straight and shiny, so dealing with frizz was extremely unusual and upsetting. In the end, because of the overwhelming stress, I had to rely on my makeup artist to help finish my hair.

This was not the level of professionalism or care I expected for such an important day. I would not recommend Blush’d Brides if you’re looking for reliability, proper time management, and polished results on your big day.

I have only amazing things to say about Blushd Brides. Firstly I was a bridesmaid last year and had Blushd Brides do my hair and makeup and my choice was made then and there for my own wedding day. I booked my wedding hair and makeup with Blushd Brides and I am so glad I did. I had 5 bridesmaids as well and each one of them were so happy with both their hair and makeup. Myself, the bride, I was OBSESSED with my hair and makeup on the day! It was exactly what I had imagined and it lasted so well throughout the day and night! The team at Blush'd Brides are incredible! Sophie and Liz did my and 5 others hair and makeup on the day of my wedding and everyone was completely in awe at the job that they did. They are super fun and bubbly and a great addition to your wedding day vibe also! My trial was also great and on the day we tweaked a few things so that I was 110% happy and the girls handle feedback like the professionals they are. I would easily recommend to other brides. Thank you so much for making me feel a million dollars on my special day!

I had a very disappointing experience as a bridesmaid with one of Blush’d Brides’ hairstylists. I showed her a picture of the hairstyle I wanted, but she couldn’t replicate it and ended up making my hair very frizzy, even though I specifically told her I don’t like frizzy hair. I was so unhappy with the result that I had to take it down. She also didn’t use enough spray to fix the frizz, and she kept opening and redoing my hair more than ten times, which caused me a lot of pain and eventually a headache.

There were four of us getting our hair done, and none of us were happy with her work. We all felt really uncomfortable and dissatisfied that day, which put a damper on what should have been a special occasion.

When I contacted Blush’d Brides’ admin to share my concerns, instead of acknowledging the issue, they brushed it off with excuses. It was frustrating that they didn’t take any responsibility for the situation. For such an important occasion, I expected much better service and professionalism. Based on my experience, I would advise against choosing Blush’d Brides if you want a stress-free, well-managed wedding day.

I recently used Blush'd Brides for both hair and makeup for my wedding for myself, 4 bridesmaids and my mum, and I couldn't be happier.
From a communication perspective - super helpful and responsive. I had so many questions leading up to my trial and actual wedding day (from adding more hair/makeup services on, through to hotel recommendations) and the Blush'd Brides Team were so quick to respond. I also found their client portal very helpful too.
From a service perspective - my artists Liz and Ellen were amazing. We initially met during my trial ~3 months prior to my wedding day. They executed my trial hair and makeup exactly how I had asked for it/showed them. Come the wedding day, Liz and Ellen listened closely to the changes that I wanted to make to my hair and makeup from my trial, and once again they executed it beautifully, and despite being a hot sweaty mess later on the evening, my makeup and hair still looked great. They also were spot-on with the hair and makeup brief that they were given that morning for my bridesmaids and mum.
Furthermore, despite super friendly conversation with us all during the prep process (which was super nice that they engaged easily with all of us in conversation), Liz and Ellen were still both very professional and smashed out our prep timeline (which I had been concerned about after adding in an additional service only a few months prior).
I would definitely recommend Blush'd Brides 😊

Blush'd Brides are amazing, Sophie & Liz made me, and my bridesmaids look and feel like a million bucks! Everything from the trial, the support, the makeup touch up kit, to the special day, was very professional and worth the money. They nailed my bridal trial look and nailed it even more on the day and it lasted all the way through the reception. My hair looked amazing even after my veil was stood on and yanked out of my hair! The girls were so lovely and nice and made the morning of the big day feel extra special. Definitely recommend.
