One of the few bars that still feels like a family-owned business. Great music and events, and the outdoor space has an awesome vibe yet but is still incredibly relaxing at the same time. Absolutely recommend if looking to unwind down near the beach!

I went as part of a group that had pre-booked an outdoor space but on arrival they'd put us inside... Then we were told there wasn't any food trucks coming, which was very disappointing since nobody had informed us of this situation...

This is an awesome local pub. Great range of beers on tap and they have something new on tap to try most times I go in. Very nice atmosphere inside and out in the beer garden and the staff and music are always fantastic!

Great intimate pub atmosphere with inside and outside seating. Locally sourced beers and produce for the restaurant. Bite sized food full of flavour and uniqueness. Definitely recommend the tacos, with house made fresh tortillas. Now on my list of favourite places to eat in Brisbane.

We had a great time playing at MrHenderson the other night.
A cosy 1970s lounge-vibe is complemented by eclectic artwork on the walls and a strangely at-home looking upright piano. While the stage area is small, it provided an intimate experience not unlike the every-growing popular house concert.
Henderson offers a wide variety of beverages, which its helpful staff are more than happy to offer suggestions about.

TIP: park in ALDI car park for ease of access to the venue.

Mr Henderson, or Hendos, is a fantastic little venue located in the heart of the Sandgate strip. There is usually a fantastic atmosphere there during the weekend, and there is also collaboration with food truck vendors most weekends as well. The outdoor area offers the best seating options, but there is also ample seating inside. They offer a huge variety of local beers as well as a 4 variety gin paddle, which is a personal favourite. There are toilets located upstairs at the venue and ample street parking and undercover parking at the rear of the building.
