My favourite spot on campus without a doubt. The coffee beans they use are just right and the best part is the atmosphere. The team is always welcoming and have a good dynamic which is fun and enjoyable. I probably would argue that is one of the best cafes in Townsville or in a tie with Juliette’s- they just need ice cream.

Worst cafe on campus without a doubt. I have no idea how they have so many good reviews. Either family of the staff or staff themselves have posted them. Every time you order food there they make you feel as though you are somehow severely inconveniencing their day by giving them your money. Foods not the worst, but I’m always left with a bad taste in my mouth after dealing with them. Their bad attitudes must contaminate the food? Who knows!

Aroma JCU is my go-to spot on campus for my morning coffee. I have also ordered catering on multiple occasions from Bernie and her team at Aroma JCU for special events. They always deliver fresh and delicious food that our guests absolutely love. Would highly recommend them for your next function!

Food was terrible. Ordered a milkshake and paid for extra ice cream. Milkshake was just as watered down as if it was normal milkshake. Wouldn't doubt that there wasn't actually any icecream in it. Service was rude. Staff seemed negative and inconvenienced by people ordering. Staff yell out names so loud and rude that it is hard to hear what they are yelling out.

Bernie and the team are always happy, a lot of the time I am time poor, so Bernie helps me decide what to eat because she cares enough to know what I like. I am not really a big coffee drinker so when I ask for a really strong coffee the girls make me try it before I go and inevitably have to put more milk in - it is this extra mile that makes work like family. Always happy, ready to have a laugh and friendly... even when they are flat out. Thanks team!!!

Best cafe ever, always mixing it up with what they’ve got on the shelves and everyone working is friendly as can be. The Salads are to die for and I swear there’s new ones every day. Main reason I look forward to going to uni every day is to get some food from aroma.
