is brilliant right by the beach. The owner and all her staff are absolutely fantastic, friendly welcoming and so helpful.
We’ve been on our travels for six weeks and this was the friendliest hotel so accommodating. I just like to mention the bacon at breakfast is lovely ☺️

We stayed 2 nights ago, lovely service and a delightful welcome. The beds were so very comfortable and we very much enjoyed our stay.
We were however missing tissues and a chopping board in our room ..we received complementary water in our fridge but one was used and half empty. We enjoyed a great breakfast the next morning with good choices, my poached eggs were closer to boiled eggs but still tasty. Few little things but would highly recommend and book again.

Great location close to restaurants, shops and the beach. Staff is excellent and in our opinion makes up for the dated rooms and lack of privacy when using the bathroom. Hotel is older but clean and as said we loved the service. Transport from the airport was included with our 3 nights stay and we also added breakfast. What was difficult for us was that there is no air conditioned waiting area when checking out, you either sit at the pool or on outside benches. Overall we are happy we stayed in Port Douglas and not Cairns as the area feels so much more as a vacation spot.

We’ve experienced some fantastic accommodations over the years, but the Peninsula Boutique Hotel is truly a standout! The positives were abundant.

The hotel staff were exceptional - so friendly and incredibly helpful. Breakfast was amazing each day, and the dining area was a lovely spot to enjoy it. Our ground-floor room offered a stunning view of the beach, just across the road. The location is excellent, with shops and restaurants just a quick 2-minute walk away.

In short, we had a truly wonderful stay and we will be back!

I cannot sing the praises of the Peninsula loudly or long enough. Our time in Port Douglas was incredible, but as travelers know, your accommodations can make or break the experience. Everything about and everyone in the Peninsula were over and above.

The location, right on 4 Mile Beach, to be able to swim or watch the spectacular sunrise, was perfect. The shops and dining on the Macrossan Street strip were within easy walking distance. Our alfresco breakfast was always fresh, bountiful and delicious. And our room…goodness…it was palatial.

Our only regret is not knowing what was awaiting us. Had we been aware, we would’ve extended our trip a few more days just to absorb the town, the beach and the location. I suppose we will just have to return.

Our stay at this hotel was very good. The location is incredible, 1 minute walk to the beach and is also very close to the centre of town about 3-5 minutes to the coles. Our room was clean and they cleaned our room everyday. We also had the breakfast included and enjoyed it thoroughly. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely adult only hotel. Swimming pool bigger than it looks on the photographs and was never overly busy when we stayed. Breakfast very good and very large but can sometimes be slow service when busy as it is also open to non residents and appears to be very popular, 8 45 onwards seems to be the quieter time. Beautiful resort and would highly recommend.
