My husband and myself have eaten in many different Taverns and if I rate them all - Bracken Ridge Tavern is the best 👍 Quality service; staff are helpful, very polite, friendly, and efficient. The place is nice and clean and the food was great! Our friend had a wonderful birthday celebration ever 5🌟 (21.02.25, Fri.)

We were a party of 8, for a late booking to have dinner at Panama Jacks bistro last night. Travelled from Nundah to the venue as we were looking for something new. We’d heard great things about the venue and meals and were more than pleasantly surprised! The only aspect better than the food and atmosphere was the service. I’ve never tipped a staff member at a Tavern before for their service but did last night. Extra special shout out to Bailey at the bar! 11/10 for the entire experience, and as my son said to me this morning. “Looks like we have a new local’ well done yo all.

During the week I ordered the Australian lamb chops, and unfortunately, they completely missed the mark. The “seasonal vegetables” turned out to be a single piece of broccoli, paired with one scoop of mashed sweet potato and three lamb chops, each barely the size of a child’s hand. For $36, I expected a much more satisfying portion and presentation. I understand the rising cost of living, but this felt underwhelming and disappointing.

On a positive note, the bearded man at the till was fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and made my family feel right at home. It’s a shame the meal didn’t match the quality of the service.

Was somewhat dissapointed with the seafood pie. I thought there could have been more seafood, it appeared a little short. Buy probably the most dissapointing was the vegetables. Chips (Potatoes) are a side included, however for our vegetables we were provided more potatoes....roast potato, roast sweet potato, 2 thin slices of zuccini and pumpkin. Greens would have been a nicer option. I have to say the pumpkin and 2 slices of zuccini were very soggy. The portions of vegetables between plates varied in quantity as well. I did see others eating ribs and steaks and they looked to be enjoying it and the ribs n steak looked nice. But yes dissapointed with our choice.

Came here for the first time last night to try out the steak special for $23.90. While the food was delicious, both my friend that I came with and I agree that the portion size of the chips and salad was much smaller than it could have been.

I understand that it’s a special but that doesn’t mean the portions should be less! After all the chips and salad are the cheapest part of the meal to provide!

Went in today for lunch and ordered the rump steak with chips and Caesar salad sides. I ordered medium rare and it was cooked perfectly, a nice steak for a rump, well seasoned and a good size. The chips were fresh and perfectly salted, Caesar salad side was delicious and not drenched in dressing. Was cautious about a $30 rump as it’s hit and miss what you’ll get at different places, Would have to be one of the best all round meals I’ve had out in a while! Compliments to the chef/s they absolutely smashed it! I rarely leave reviews but this meal deserved it, wish I lived closer and could make it a regular.

A huge thank you from a very stressed grandmother to all the staff and management of BRT Functions. Special thanks go out to Jagger and the crew that assisted in the successful 21st celebration for my grandson Maui. I appreciate all the hard work and effort that contributed to an excellent and hassle free night. The Bar and Catering staff were all extremely friendly, polite and very helpful in accommodating all our needs. Please pass on my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all staff members that had a hand in making this an awesome and unforgetable 21st birthday. Once again thank you all... Fran

We celebrated our baby's first birthday today at the tavern. We had probably 24 people in total in our group. The staff was very accommodating, friendly, and helpful. The food was really nice too. The place is nice and clean. Thank you for helping us make the celebration lovely.
