Wonderful local community centre offering teaching expertise, wonderful craftsmanship and friendship. I'd recommend it to anyone wishing to learn a new skill or just to connect with like minded, lovely people.

Artrageous offer community art classes for people with a disability to attend weekly - my client has been attending for about a year now. This week she brought her FULLY accredited assistance dog to class today, only to be greeted extremely rudely by the staff there, and be forced to sit away from the group - a group she has come to make friends with. The staff ordered her to remain outside when she has her service dog with her. This is absolutely disgusting behaviour that I want to make everyone well aware of. My client has a disability, like everyone else in that room, and she now has a dog that can help keep her calm and relaxed in every environment she finds herself in. However due to the actions from today, my client was segregated from her peers, simply for having a disability with an assistance dog.

One of my favourite hangouts to craft with like minded friends. The back garden has amazing mosaics. It has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. And very handy to public transport. A local gem.

I think the idea's great. I haven't been there but I'd like to see what it's like on the inside and some pics of exhibitions. Your website looks like it's badly in need of an update. Nothing posted about artists, exhibitions or events since 2013 as far as I can see. Website also needs an SSL certificate. Let me know if you want help with that.

I started as a volunteer after I retired but after a month I joined the Art Classes and have been painting for the last 7 or 8 years.
I thoroughly enjoy it. Lovely people, good teacher and I have even sold a painting or two.

Great little gallery! Lots of craft and artistic activities. Just a tad too warm in the main gallery area to stay and pour over the artworks.
