The Novetel Twin Waters isn't 5 Star however its a perfect destination for families with kids or teenagers as there is so much for them to do and get tired out! ||The pool is huge and has a nearby bar for the parents to grab a drink or something to eat, such as chips or a burger. There are plenty of lounges and places to sit. ||The rooms are nothing flash. We were in an unrenovated room, but it was large. Beds were comfortable, huges shower and bsthroom, microwave, fridge and amenities. There is a daily service to clean the room and change towels.||The nature of the property is amazing, with beautiful plants and kangaroos and bush turkeys running around, which the kids will love! ||There are lots of free activities such as kyaking and sail boating on the lake. There is a beach closeb accessible via a path that takes about 8 min walk. Although the beach can get very rough, be careful with young kids. They will love the sand, so take the sandcastle making equipment.||We were very disappointed in the restaurant..it took forever for us to get our food and it was just so bad (over cooked) and cheap ingredients we could barely eat it. ||The next night, we drove to a nearby restaurant for dinner, and it was amazing. There are loads of cafes and food outlets in the local area.||Overall, it was a great place to stay and have some fun in the sun, sea and pool. Enjoy |

I stayed at the Novotel whilst Cyclone Alfred was in town. The hotel itself is fantastic, the foyer, restaurant, beer garden, pool deck and all facilities were amazing and meticulously clean and well presented. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, we were kept up to date with regular weather and response updates and felt 100% safe at all times. A special mention to Annie who is just amazing and treats every guest with sincerity and genuine interest - she made the stay amazing and makes a great gelati!!! I will definitely be returning again with the rest of the family another day. Matt

What an amazing experience staying this beautiful resort. The pool area was sensational. Our room was lovely overlooking the lagoon and the gardens were immaculate. Beautiful resturant menu and breakfast selection was plentiful and perfect. Would definitely recommend this resort and I look forward to returning.

Nice place for staying. Room is nice and clean, just a couple major things like old and need to replace, but besides that everything looks excellent.
View to the swimming pool and beach also wonderful.
Would love to staying here again when visiting Sunshine Coast.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel! The pool area was stunning, and there were plenty of activities available, both for kids and adults, including water sports on the lake. The beach was just a short stroll away, adding to the convenience.

The buffet breakfast was outstanding, offering a wide variety of delicious options, and the gym was well-equipped. Our room was modern, comfortable, and perfectly suited for our group of two adults and two children.

The only downside? Having to leave! We would have gladly extended our stay and are already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended!

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this hotel. No ability to modify my booking (with plenty of notice) due to unforeseen personal circumstances, they showed zero flexibility or compassion. Instead of understanding, they stuck rigidly to their policies, making it clear they cared more about profit than their guests and building good customer relations which would actually see guests returning. Instead, I would never consider booking here again nor recommend others do so.
Communications were extremely poor.
Good hospitality is about more than just taking people’s money—it’s about customer service and human decency. Sadly, this hotel lacks both. I wouldn’t recommend booking here if you expect any level of understanding or kindness. Plenty of other places value their guests over taking peoples money for a profit.

We stayed a little while ago and forgot to leave a review. We paid for a room with a lagoon / lake view. To be able to see it, you would have to stand all the way in one of the corners just to get a fraction of the sandy beach that is next to it. The rooms are aligned in such a way that you dont get a view of anything. We were looking straight at a construction site. The room had dead bugs all throughout the bathroom and had the feeling as if it had been left empty / dormant and uncleaned for a few months. The water also tasted weird from the taps, and both my partner and I had water poisoning 2 days after staying here.. you can make your own judgment what could have caused this.

The one nice experience we had while staying was seeing the number of kangaroos all around the location. They were awesome to see up close.

Also only one staff on check in at peak time?

Reception never brought everything sleep Manchester (requested extra sheet pillow and blanket).

This was previously a fun enjoyable holiday destination.

No it feels tide and uninviting.

Kids enjoyed pool and lagoon.

No extra activities were hosted unfortunately.
