Excited to visit after reading all the good reviews, but disappointed by food. We were all served soggy sweet potato fries rather than normal chips for some reason, and the steak was very fatty. Didn't have half the tap beers either. The shnitty was very good though, and the staff were nice.

Had a really great lunch here. The bar is refurbished and looks great. Good outdoor area out the back which is dog friendly. Menu caters for lots of different dietary requirements. We had the vegetarian burgers with gluten free buns. Very tasty. They have a decent drinks selection including gluten free beers 😊

Horrible place. I booked 6 months in advance for a wedding only to be called the day before my arrival and told they had double booked and could no longer fulfill my booking. I was promised a full refund as this was no fault of my own. It’s now 5 weeks later and I have not received any word from the accommodation and no refund. I am horribly disappointed they can do this to a family when I was never at fault and am down all this money for a booking they could no longer fulfill. I have emailed multiple times. Contacted multiple times. Left voice mails and reached out to their social media only to be ignored. This feels like a scam to me and I am so disappointed with the distress and upset this business has caused me and my family. Bad bad bad business and horrible treatment of consumers. Do not stay here !

Attended a charity event. The facility was nicely presented and the staff were fun. Shame of it was on their beer wall 90% weren't available. The entrees provided were delicious, but the main meal lacked a bit of love and affection. Was still a fun night so can't complain too much

If I could give less than one star I really would. I booked online, something came up so I had to cancel. I called well in advance, I even then sent an email confirming my cancellation. I have the phone records and the emails records. But they wont refund the money. The excuse is they are having trouble with the booking agency getting their money. Someone has my money but I cant get it back and they are the most unhelpful I have had the displeasure of dealing with in a long time. Good luck if you book to stay here.

The food was excellent, we got the chicken burger and the steak sandwich. The portion sizes were quite large for the price, neither of us ended up finishing but we were able to get a takeaway box so we could enjoy it later. All of the staff were so lovely, specifically the waiter on our way in, I didn't catch his name but he was so helpful and gave us some menu recommendations and we had a lovely chat with him. Overall our entire time here was amazing and we will come again when we are in the area.

Where to start craft beers on tap all locally sourced.
Ambience of a country pub but has a modern touch.
The food is next level the wife tried the chicken Schnitzel and said its the best she has ever had, I had the sirloin steak was amazing. Highly recommend, definitely a locals favourite 😍
