Delicious cake for breakfast. Coffee was a really nice and our dog was welcomed openly (outside seating). Even though it was busy this morning, the crew held their own!

Burgers over priced, No flavour in the meat patty, meat patty seemed like it was pre bought and not made in store.Charge $1 extra for beetroot, bread Rolls were not toasted. Very disappointing burger. Photo of the burger looked pretty..

We were going for a walk along the bay when we felt like grabbing a coffee. Second time coming here. Options to dine inside the restaurant or sit at the tables outside. Awesome position in close proximity to the water. They have a water bowl for dogs outside. l normally get a hot coffee, but today, I opted for an iced coffee with oat milk and ice cream. My finance got a large flat white. We chose to take away our drinks so we could continue walking by the water. My drink only came in one size & was tasty.
On this occasion it was too much for me and I couldn't finish it. Haven't tried the food here before. Maybe next time.

Went to the counter to order and was given a menu. I was standing there with my family I was told, not asked, told to move away from the counter while we decided what to order. There was no other customers in the shop at the time. The staff member did this in an incredibly rude manner. She was intentionally rude. We gave the menus back and left without ordering. I do not recommend this place. I'll be sure to tell all of my friends, family, and clients just how terrible this place is.

2.5 STARS. Sunday 30th July l. Family Lunch $90 spend (normal for my family)
Excellent customer Service from 2 young ladies.
Be aware:
If you want to Eat in - Separate dine in menu & cost EXTRA + cannot order from ‘take-away- menu (see picture)
Drinks list - can soft drink $3.50+ Vs 1.25l $5.95. Go next door to Zesty Lemon Cafe $2.50 per can! + better variety of slices/cakes.

TAKE AWAY Menu: CANNOT ORDER BATTERED Fish across the board!! (see pictures)
If you eat outside it’s classed as take-away.
Taste fish n chips- average.
Steak Sandwich cost $17 - taste below average, no chips in meal! In

I took my elderly mother out for morning tea and we absolutely loved Mermaids By The Bay. The relaxing atmosphere, the beautiful view, the lovely staff, the great coffee, hot chocolate, and best of all...the absolutely best banana bread I've ever had, and I love banana bread! We're going to make a visit to this Cafe a regular treat!!!

This place is such a disappointment! We went here to try, as it has the best location to the waterfront of three cafes available around here. Well the food was overpriced and crap plus the coffees were just horrid.

Honestly don’t waste your time or money here and just go to the Zesty Lemon a couple of doors up. Should have known when the only good cafe was busy and this eyesore had no customers. Hopefully they knock this trash place down and build a nice HighRise there with some great restaurants.

Disappointing - my friend has had gastic bypass so is unable to have normal size meals - requested a half serve of Eggs Benedict ... was told they could do that but it would be the same price!! They did offer her takeaway but Eggs Benedict isnt really a easy to takeaway sort of meal .... Half a muffin, 1 piece of bacon, 1 egg and some hollandaise sauce ... middle of a plate with nothing extra for $21 .... ridiculous! Yes she could of complained but suffers from social anxiety.

My food was disappointing as well - for what I paid i did not feel like it was worth the price.
