Our apartment was excellent, as it was fully air conditioned. The view is amazing and the location perfect. Loved the 6am wake up call from the Perth Gold Coast flight. Some may not! Aircon is a must this time of year. The kitchen was well equipped, but the Induction hot plate controls were a mystery. Will stay again..

You can't beat the location of The Rocks Resort and the amazing views and sound of the ocean. Fantastic Managment, who are extremely accommodating. Great heated pool and straight over the road from Currumbin Beach and Currumbin Alley.||The rooms we have stayed in have all been extremely clean, comfortable and well appointed. ||We have been coming here for staycations for years and even booked a few years ago as groups for a family 50th. ||Walk to amazing cafe's and Tommy's Italian next door, The Vikings Surf Club, and a few Km's walk or courtesy bus to The popular Currumbin RSL.

Plus - Large apartment with lovely view to beach. Modern furniture and well equipped kitchen. Well maintained pool and gardens. Good location for beach/Currumbin Bird Sanctuary. Tight by ample parking.|Cons - Minimal (one nights worth) toiletries, tea/coffee and dishwashing liquid. Needed to buy items like toilet paper, dish washing liquid, tissues, hand soap as not enough for our 7 night stay. Noisy with aircraft landing near by. Minimal cafes in walking distance.|For the money of this property the basics i.e dishwashing liquid, toilet paper, tea/coffee should be supplied to cover the nights you pay for. It did leave a sour taste having to buy this when we spent so much on the 7 night booking. Although it was lovely for this reason I would not stay again.

Amazing location. Rooms comfortable and ours was updated a little, but needs some attention. Shower pressure terrible. Aircon in bedrooms but not in main living area, which didn't bother us once we opened up all the sliding doors to the balcony and served us well as we love fresh sea air - kept us cool. Resort facilities like pool, gym, games room a little dated but adequate. Undercover parking is good for higher vehicles too. Views were next level, great walking paths and cafes on your doorstep.

The Rocks Resort is be a hidden gem that needs some urgent love and attention. Gardens are lovely but the common areas are very dated. The unit was more tired looking than the photos on the website. It would not take much to improve. Fresh paint, better beds (king size needed!), air conditioning in the living in area and updated furniture are a must. However, after a week this place has grown on me. Spacious, wonderful ocean views, very handy to the beach, fabulous walks, cafes and the Currumbin Surf Club. Thankfully the southerly winds have been blowing so the weather has been superb!

OMG……what a nice holiday! Our host Leanne is such a wonderful and kind person, she had made us feel very special and welcoming. We had booked 9J apartment for a week during this Christmas and we loved every minute of it! Kingscliff holiday home had advertised this place as a luxurious accommodation and we agreed 100%. This is a luxurious place and prices are very reasonable specially during busy season. We’ll definitely come back to stay here again soon. Once again thank you so much Leanne for making our stay very comfortable and enjoyable, much appreciated it!

For a 4 star resort, paying 350plus per night, my family of 5 with 3 young children expected more. No ceiling fans or aircon, only a couple of dirty rusty portable fans were supplied. The walls were filthy and the whole place was lacking up keeps. Fortunately, sheets were clean although, our child did break out in a rash from, we are assuming, high dust whilst staying there. Kitchen was putrid as dishwasher and under sink absolutely stunk. |Tiles in bathrooms were cracked, walls chipped throughout and carpets dirty. |For a supposedly 4 star resort, paying the above price we expected more. |Thank you for our stay ‘The rocks Resort’ but we sadly won’t be back any time soon. ||Plus points:|• view |• pool|• location |• well sized rooms|• did allow parking post checkout
