I think the reviews on here are unfair. The hotel is 3 star. And I think that is where it gets these reviews. People are expecting 4 Star and it isn’t that standard. However it is clean and tidy and close to beach and shops. It’s in a safe location and did not smell of smoke or wee. The manager was friendly and gave brilliant instructions and made check in and out a pleasure. The reception was clean and welcoming. The car park was easy to get in and out of and you have a designated park to your room so I don’t understand people saying they didn’t have parks. I think if you expect 3 star (which is the price rate they charge) you won’t be so disappointed.

It was a last-minute accommodation , but my husband and I were pleased with what we had. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment.
The price was good , the room was clean and spacious . It was relaxing , quiet and enjoyable. Our grandchildren had a wonderful time in the pool area when they visited . BBQ and the pool area were clean.

It's a shame the restaurant is no longer running , I'm sure it would bring more value to the place ... breakfast , lunch and dinner.

We didn't mind the walk to the currimundi shopping centre, Woolies Maccs Red Rooster , Fish and Chips and bottle shop.

The staff were friendly and helpful.

Very family friendly. Great location the pools were beautiful temperature. Rooms were all spacious, kitchen equiped with all cooking utensils and crockery. Washing machine and dryer all clean.
The apartment needs some work to it, with regular upkeep on curtains and mattresses.. the walls need a paint due to multiple scuff marks. And a bigger aircon as the small one didn’t keep the room at a good temperature. And possibly a new stove as it took forever to cook.

There might be better places in Caloundra than this one.
- the reception area including the elevator smelled of cigarettes
- After checking in, I got told there will be always room in the visitor parking area, therefor I need no parking spot. I went out to get dinner, came back and of course...no parking, no key card for the locked hotel car park and the reception closed. Had to park in a disabled spot, which didn't sit right with me. Checked again an hour later and was lucky to get one free visitor parking spot.
-Very noisy motel - parties until the early morning hours and loud yelling/talking, obviously from people who live there permanently.
- if you want to sit outside your room, you can't - the outdoor area is way too small & not very inviting
All in all is false advertising and very disappointing.

Apartment had a musty old smell, brought air fresheners etc-done the job. Couple of things broken when we arrived but as we were very busy, kept missing reception times. Overall very spacious and a good stay with pools and a lovely spa.

If I could leave a 0 rating I would DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!
- Reception and the lift smelt like cigarettes and weed
- Disabled parking spots were always taken by residents who were too lazy to use their own parking
- Room was not as pictured, phots online are photoshopped
- Room smelt very strongly of bleach which caused me to have asthma and my husband and I both extreme headaches
- the blockout curtains were too small for the 1 window in the room
- The noise throughout the night and early morning felt like we had people in our room with us at 2am, 3:30am, 6am and again at 7am
- The extremely small outdoor area was dirty and as people walked past our room they stopped to look at us over the wall (it was a ground floor room with a walled outdoor area)
- The bathroom has no exhaust so the room was just always had a damp feeling after showers
- The restaurant was closed by the looks of it for good we weren’t informed
- the lights right outside out one and only window with blockout curtains that were too small were on 24hrs and shone into the room
- There is a sign telling you to wash your dishes but you had the choice of using the bathroom sink or a bucket they supplied and water as they didn’t give you dish washing liquid or anything to wash them with (we did not use anything)
- We were given one towel each and notice was given via email that they would not be giving us any extra towels during our stay.
WORST PLACE I’VE EVER STAYED!!!
I will never stay here again and please do not even reply to my review with your scripted we are sorry we all know you don’t care about the property or the people who stay there, you should be ashamed of yourselves!

Terrible experience all round, rude staff.
Warned us to “lock our fancy car up in these parts”. Staff weren’t wearing uniforms and reeked of cigarettes. Photos absolutely DO NOT match the accomodation. I made a mistake with our booking. The manager took our money for the extra night I had paid for (I made the booking a day early) but refused to look for a new room to accommodate us, claiming due to the public holiday they were full, even though the hotel car park was still next to empty. Seemed super dodgy. Will not be using again.
