Overnight stay in the area to attend a function. Booked 1 bdm apartment with sofa bed. Room very clean, comfortable and spacious with kitchenette and everything you might need away from home. Octopus towel was cute. Great rooftop area with views and BBQs. Pool looked good too although we didn't take a swim this stay. Very friendly and helpful greeting at reception (from Lorraine if think). Would recommend and would come back again.

The service hours are until 5pm which is a bit inflexible, but it seems that all resorts in Australia have the same service hours?However, the free parking service is really great for us who are on vacation! The room is large, with a kitchen, refrigerator and kitchenware, and there are many shopping supermarkets nearby, which is very suitable for long-term vacations. The view outside the window shows a little bit of the sea, and you can see it more completely on the top floor.What is more puzzling is that my friend and I woke up the next morning and felt like we were bitten by insects? Maybe need to pay more attention to making and cleaning the beds it would be better.

Definitely deserves five stars across each category. I was travelling for work, and very much enjoyed my stay. Close walk to my event venue, and a close walk to the beach as well (where I took a twilight walk shortly after settling in to my room).

Room and facilities were lovely and staff were very helpful and friendly. The added bonus was that the rates were so competitive compared to nearby alternatives, I was able to enjoy a beautiful dinner at the on-premise restaurant, 'three', guilt free!

Already planning to return -- next time with a family holiday in mind.

We were able to secure two rooms at OVR at very late notice. Both rooms were extremely comfortable and very clean. One room was a studio, with a large patio, plus a bath. The pool and spa were great. The young woman who met us at reception was very friendly and helpful.

This place has potential to be a good budget hotel. Unfortunately over 50% of the carpet in my room was wet with a random stain in the middle. This felt super gross walking anywhere in the room as it covered the main walkway, next to the bed, and stretched out over the lounge area. It made the room and my belongs smell. I shared this with reception who said they will make a note of it. Had they made an effort to resolve my issue I likely would have given an extra star. This is not what I expect when paying $200 for a hotel.

Pro standard from reception to Sarah in house cleaning. Excellent cotton sheets on a king sized bed. All mod cons and a heated pool. Close to restaurants and cafes. Try the Indian on Mutchinson street.
