For those wanting to visit - check your order before handing over money!!!!

I’ve been going to the Dayboro Cafe for the last 5 years and every time my experience there has been great. Recently, under new management the experience was very different. I ordered the cod and chips and the seafood basket and chips. Upon checking my order in the car I noted the portion of chips was very small. I went back with my cod and chips to question the teen behind the counter, just in case it was an error. She assured me that the number of chips was correct. I asked for a refund. When I returned with the rest of the order nobody wanted to acknowledge I was there! I had to ask two different people to process my refund. They were only too happy to take my money and deliver something that was underwhelming but it took some effort to get them to process a refund. Poor service, poor management, poor products and won’t be going back again!

First time to this cute little cafe.. the service was fast, and friendly with very down to earth staff. The salmon and salad was very fresh and served exactly how I like it, and the chips was nice and crispy. My friend ordered the work's burger and chips and she loved it! And the chicken nuggets and chips for the kid was also very decent quality. The prices was good, and there is an outside sitting area with a small kids zone. I would totally recommend this place πŸ™‚

Decided to try these guys again as they are the only ones that do fish n chips in Dayboro other than the IGA. Last year we waited 2 hours for a couple of burgers so haven't used them for a year. Today we ordered 2 daggy dogs, a pineapple fritter and small chips. Half an hour later this is what we got. Not sure what happened to the missing daggy dog or the poor, burnt offering that is supposed to be a pineapple fritter. Clearly things have not improved, such a shame.

Burger hunt day 2 - Ok, so I didn't really eat 2 burgers in 2 days but it sounded cool. Dayboro Cafe perched in a quaint little town..called Dayboro, serves up Burgers and Chips as a classic like me. Old school patty, onion, cheese and relish with a modern twist of a Gluten-Free Bun. Chunky fat chips that just burst fluffy fresh potato in your mouth. Another reminder that being Celiac ain't that hard after all.

Popped in for coffee as i was travelling thru, & of course i had heard about their interesting tasty range of cakes.
The coffee (asked for extra shot) & cake was great.
The team were friendly, helpful and the place had a sparkly clean feel about it.

Conclusion
Will definitely be back for more coffee (& cake)

Lovely place to go. It has outside seating where u can take your friendly dog with you while you eat. There is also a kids area that is gated for security. There food is great, as is there coffee and other drinks. The service is very friendly. A great place to sit and relax, I will be going back regularly. It's also a byo. Which is great if u like to have a drink with ur lunch. πŸ‘
