Held a general meeting for members. Committee disrespectful when members bring issue to light. One committee member (can only assume as he was sitting at the head table) even gave the finger as a response to someone who was quote “whinging”. Other people sitting at our table even commented “this is why we can’t say anything”
Yes I am not a member. I did not say a word as I am not a member. I am not disrespectful. Simply reporting what happened. This club does seem family friendly or inviting. It is a clique. If you don’t fit in, you are not welcome. Some also suggested a suggestion box and the idea was dismissed as quote “people are smart arses so not worth it”

This is our local, have been coming here for years. Cannot fault the volunteer based bar staff, they do a good job and therefore would give them 5 stars.

This review is for the new restaurant.
Came here on a weekday, was the second person to order at 6pm, when they opened, got my order half an hour later and went staright home. Realised when I got home that we only got half a box of chips and the wrong pizza, ordered Ham and Pineapple. Chips were good but pizza below average and undercooked.

Have been back a few more times as it is our local. Toppings are always lacking, disappointing when you're paying $18 for a pizza, salami must be expensive. Seems like they only do one pizza right, BBQ Bacona and Chicken so that's what well be getting from now on.

Since a replacement of some staff this place certainly has changed . It's back to how it was 20 years ago. Welcoming fir families a great atmosphere. No one feels UNWELCOME. It gives people who are new to the area a chance to come and meet their neighbours . We are long term residents and stopped going as well as many others, but now the carport is full its so good to see the staff care about the " community Club " which is what it is . Thanku to Ray , and all the staff for making this happen 🙏

I've just moved nearby and I haven't had a meal yet but I've heard its great homestyle food. I'm a bit of a chatterbox so sitting with the locals was easy, comfortable and informative. They made me feel welcome. And the amazing thing is it's all run by volunteers! They do cater for take home slabs/drinks, easy parking and I'm a little excited about barefoot bowling coming soon! The venue is nothing fancy but it's all about locals connecting with locals in a comfortable place and welcoming all us newbies and the visitors alike.

Very friendly staff and patrons , the staff are volunteers and have kept the club open for years because of they're ongoing battle with the council regarding Curra needs a licenced club, it has tennis courts, a great smoking area a games room for children ,pool tables for older children and music on certain nights also
yummy meals .
Cheers Dan
