Great place to stop. We had a powered and water site for 1 week. Prices a very reasonable. Toilets and showers are kept clean through out the day. We had to large mastiffs dogs with us. The care takers were great. Made you feel very welcome. We will definitely stop here again.when in the area.

Beautiful grounds to stop and stay for 3 weeks. Very well maintained and very clean amenities. Plenty of walks to accomplish. Lovely view from our spot, watching bird life. Had the pleasure of watching the pony club and a few blokes throwing boomerangs enjoying their afternoon.

A very good campsite, inexpensive and clean, with hot and very clean showers, very clean toilets, and very friendly and helpful staff!
The only downside is that there are a lot of older people with caravans everywhere—grumpy folks who don’t reply when you say hello, crowd you, and take up all the water access points… so much so that we had to leave! They speak loudly in the evenings, have no respect, and no sense of community living.
It’s such a shame because otherwise, it’s one of the most honest and cleanest campsites I’ve ever seen! We’ll come back if the clientele changes.

We have stayed here in our caravan a few times when visiting Brisbane with the city 40 minutes away. Excellent amenities, quiet and never packed. Check ahead as events are held on the ovals. Recommended.

I’d give it a one star. I have a son with a disability and he was going off when the male caretaker came down and not so pleasant words (swearing at me) that I was abusing my son when in reality I hadn’t raised my voice or sworn and definitely don’t lay a hand on him. I was asking my son to calm down when the caretaker Pointed his finger in face and was abusing me to the point I had to walk away. Then two days later came down to our camp yelling and screaming about two boxes we had collapsed and put in the bin. The bin has spray painted on it collapse boxes before dumping. We did as asked and still wasn’t good enough. Our receipt for payment was for 4 days and shows the amount we paid. On the third day he tried to kick us out because he had written the wrong dates. Even though we had paid for 4 days. We were meant to stay 3 weeks but there is no way we could do that there. The people either side of us had come to me and said not to worry about him as they had copped the same treatment. I’ve heard he has been there a long time and maybe needs a break or to be put back in his place. Never to return here and i will not recommend to any of my followers or camping caravaning groups as this was the worst experience ever. Most people work in together but not here.

Domestic violence in any guise is not acceptable. The whole camp ground could hear this person yelling at his son. This is a very quiet well run reasonably priced dog friendly camp ground.

The one caretaker is not the nice person I believe he has a power tip he thinks he can go around and abused people for doing the right thing. NOW I UNDERSTAND WHY THIS MEAN MEN BOB HAS BEEN HERE TO LONG 7 YEARS IN ONE PLACE U IS TO LONG LOOK LIKE BOB NEEDS A HOLIDAY BOB U R A DEAD SET.........
