First time experience was absolutely out of this world. Owners and staff had tremendous care and attention to detail on both the food and the customer service. I left full as can be and very impressed. My only complaint is how many times I've gone to Muller Bro's when I should've come to Flaming Knights. 💯

Thanks for the service and food fellas! Partner and I made a spontaneous stop in for lunch. The best slow cooked, smoked meats we’ve ever had! We ordered the Low and Slow board for 2 and we were more than satisfied. Had to try the wings and chocolate thick shake too, which again were the best we’ve had!

Probably the single greatest barbecue I've ever had.

Ordered the starter board for two to start, and ever single item was fantastic. The standout for me was the chicken tenders, they were out of this world.

Had the low and slow board for two for main. The brisket was unreal, juicy and insanely tender. The chicken was smoked beautifully and not dry at all, it was excellent.

Tried the ginger bread espresso martini and milo martini on the recommendation of one of the owners and they were excellent.

The staff are happy and engage with you as you're eating.

I will absolutely be making this a repeat location.

We are in Toowoomba for the flower festival and felt like some good American BBQ. We saw the reviews and thought we'd try it. It has a really good menu that covers the BBQ range really well.

We were very impressed. Great interpretation of American BBQ. We ordered the burnt ends, apple and fireball wings, and the Tennessee chicken salad

The burnt ends were easily 10/10. Dark, rich, a little dryish in texture, with beautiful smoky flavour. Perfect.

The apple and fireball wings were excellent. Large firm wings, well cooked. The apple and cinnamon flavours were very good. My suggestion is to ask for a little house made chipotle sauce on the side. It adds great complexity and a whole 'nother level of flavour. 8.5/10

The Tennessee chicken salad was a real surprise. While the chicken was delicious, the hero was the salad itself, especially when you get a bit of chicken and salad on the fork together. Fresh, good texture and flavour profile, wooden ingredients complementing each other really well. 8.5/10

We also spoke to the owner Mark. It's clear he really cares about what he's doing here. A really nice guy.

If you are up this way and love American BBQ you should definitely give it a try. We will be back.

Please take into account this was an uber order not a done in experience but I think my rating is fair still.

I ordered the brisket meal which was $50 plus $5 delivery and $5 priority (I wanted to make sure my meat was as fresh as possible.

Honestly how a business could charge $50 for 2 relativly small bits on meat on-top of chips and salad with a sauce is beyond me.

Flavour wise 5 stars
Quality the meat was well smoked but a bit dry
Chips were well cooked and well seasoned
Cowboy butter was fantastic

After I finished eating was i content and satisfied with the food I ate and the value paid for it..... Hell no!!!!

In the photo attached both bits of meat were the same size I had some one ONE of them before thinking to take a photo.

I would hardly call it a smoked beef brisket meal, more like a smoked beef brisket sample pack. While it was tasty I would DEFINITELY not recommend it to anyone at that price. If it was a 50% off day I would tell everyone to try it but honestly a rip off for what you get

EDIT/Additional: the businesses response "there was an invention made long ago called a car" is the most unprofessional think I have seen publicly from a business in a long time. If you don't want to be on uber don't be on uber. Even at $38 that is a pathetic amount of food to call it's a brisket meal. Call it chips topped with smoked brisket and then it is what it is. After the response I feel my 2 stars was too nice.

Absolutely incredible, all round a great experience. From food to service this place hit all the spots.

We came in for dinner after hearing some great things and we were not disappointed. As soon as we got in Mark came over and made sure we had menus and checked if we wanted some drinks and had a very friendly personality. He was informative about what things were on the menu and even recommended sauce based on what we got. We decided we'd start with a starter board and with four of us there we thought we'd get the 4 person one but Mark heard our order and recommended we get the two person instead as we already ordered quite a lot so we did and I'm very happy we did as this food will fill you and doesn't disappoint. The starter board came out and unfortunately in my hungry state I didn't get a photo but I can tell you it's a sight of beauty. The cheeseburger spring rolls, Mac and cheese bites, arancini balls, fried chicken wings and the deep fried pickles were all fantastic. It was hard to pick a favorite but I think I'd go with the deep fried pickles. (Make sure to get the secret sauce for the deep fried pickles it's amazing) After we stuffed ourselves with them the wait for the mains wasn't long at all, the burgers all came out at the same time. My partner and one of our friends got the special of the day that was a wagyu beef patty with bacon and caramelized onion burger, I got a Miss piggy burger aka a pulled pork burger with slaw and our other friend got a pulled brisket burger with slaw. Now let me tell you I have been disappointed in the past with pulled pork burgers, either they load it with slaw or it's cold in the middle. But not this one, this one was crafted with care and by someone that definitely knows what they are doing. Someone that has a passion for food and for making the customer feel special. I will definitely suffer after eating this as pork doesn't agree with me but for once it's going to be worth it. The chips were also amazing, very simple but had a nice seasoning and complemented the burgers well. By the end of it we wanted to try the cocktail of the week that we saw on the board. A gin fizz I believe it was called, and now we see that this place does truly have it all covered. As this was an amazing cocktail that will definitely write you off if you have more than one. But for a high alcoholic drink it didn't taste like it. They really have mastered the art of everything here and I truly hope that they succeed in everything they try to accomplish. Me and my friends will definitely be back and we're going to try to get more people to share this wonderful place. Thank you for having us.

Fantastic feed! We stumbled across this place returning from a winery, it had a giant smoker pumping out the front you could smell the meat while driving past so on our return trip booked a table and had an amazing smoked meat platter, Brisket was killer so was the pulled pork, tender smoked chicken and local Angus sausage with slaw corn chips and chimi for dunking. All up we had about 20 of us inside which only left maybe 2 or 3 tables, they had plenty of room out the back though with a function they were also catering for so clearly this is a hidden gem all up we drove about 5 hours for this feed and it was worth it bring your appetite for an authentic smoked meat experience friendly staff all came and had a chat with us talking about the food and preparation these lads are on point and no doubt will be upgrading to a bigger establishment to handle the influx of meat sweat seeking customers. Photo doesn’t do it justice couldn’t wait to dive in we had already smashed into it before we took a pic!

The food did not disappoint. The chips extra crunchy (exactly how I like them), the brisket was melt in your mouth. The Miss Piggy burger (the name makes me giggle) was right up there. Perfectly cooked pork, fresh coleslaw and a lightly toasted bun 🤌🏻
The Carolina Reaper Wings burnt my nose smelling them but my son said they were divine. (Thanks for the glass of milk)
