We stayed with a large group overnight and were able to check in earlier than usual. Service was great and our room cards ready to go when we arrived. Rooms are spacious and clean with all the necessary facilities for coffee and tea etc. Its a short walk into town to a couple of pubs, supermarket and servo nearby.

This venue was by far the best venue of 26 overnight venues we stayed at during our recent July-August road trip covering Queensland, Northern Territory, Western Australia, South Australia and New South Wales. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Supplied crockery and cutlery was unmarked. The bed was very comfortable and the supplied linen was faultless. Undercover car parking, free wi-fi and complementary continental breakfast were the icing on the cake. Would not hesitate staying again when travelling through or to Dalby.

Our trip was at short notice for family reasons. Dalby Homestead Motel was perfect for our overnight stay. The service was exceptional, friendly and welcoming. Our host could not have done anything more to make our stay enjoyable. ||Dalby Homestead Motel is situated opposite the local park, which is ideal for a stroll, relax or picnic. The room was well laid out, extremely comfortable with everything you need. ||The privacy and cleanliness was to a very high level. ||We enjoyed the free continental breakfast, all self served and in the comfort of the large dining room. The provisions for breakfast are immense with a huge variety of cereals, juices, coffee, tea, toast, eggs and spreads. This kept us going most of the day. Highly recommended.||We had great conversation with our host, who was very kind, thoughtful and full of ideas of things we could do on our short trip. All great recommendations.||We loved our stay here and also enjoyed a dip in the pool afternoon and morning with the January heat. Even though the pool is on the small side it was enough to enjoy.

Fantastic people. We had mechanical issues over new year had to stay 3 nights til tyre store reopened. The staff were so accommodating and helpful. Nice clean well appointed rooms. Walking distance to everything. We really enjoyed a relaxing break. Thanks.

Always our choice when staying in Dalby. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. The beds are superior quality for comfort. We enjoy the complimentary continental breakfast.

Mary and Shane are the perfect hosts and go out of their way to make you comfortable. The complimentary breakfast is great. I love the ceramic jug under a tap that comes straight from the tank for drinking, coffee and tea. The room is very comfortable.

We chose this hotel for the location and facilities.

When we arrived ie 2.00pm, the reception was closed. We rang the number on the window but it did not answer. The Manager saw us at the front door and said that “he does not answer numbers he does not know because it is usually spam!!!. Go figure. Not a great start.

The room was OK, clean except for the bathroom light that kept on flickering when we turned on. Hence we did not turn it on. The motel advertises a bar and restaurant. We visited Dalby on a Saturday night during the Dalby show and rodeo - so it was a busy time for the Town. Both the bar and the restaurant were not operating. I wanted to watch Fox Sports as advertised “Free Fox Sports” however the Manager said that the motel has “not had Fox Sports for ages”. I asked why is the sign (displayed out the front) he shrugged his shoulders and just said “We don’t own the sign”.

The motel advertises a restaurant on the sign as well.

By the way, the motel still advertises Fox Sports, bar and restaurant on the web however non of these operate. We were supposed to get a free continental breakfast as we booked direct with the motel, but again the area was closed.in essence we felt we had been mislead. To make things worse, we emailed the motel direct and voiced our views and get their response but they have not responded.

Sorry for the long review but I wanted people to know our experience and as such would definitely NOT recommend this motel if you want to stay in Dalby

We stayed at this motel whilst attending a family wedding. From the time I booked to checking out, Doreen was a wonderful host and was so helpful, friendly and approachable. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She made us feel very welcome and looked after us. The rooms were clean and comfortable too. I’d stay here again if I ever come to Dalby again. 👍
