We drove past and found Miles Sparling playground. We decided to check it out and and came across Kruger Hall. You care hire this hall for private events such as: concerts and plays, conferences, weddings, group fitness & dance, indoor markets & expos, meetings, parties and cebrations, wedding ceremonies & receptions. Capacity is: 50 - 99. The hall dimensions (according to the website) are as follows: 15.8 metres x 8.4 metres with an 8.4 metre x 3.0 metre stage and includes a small supper room beside the kitchen which is useful as a break-out or storage area. Parking: there are 20 or so car spaces out front and an accessible parking bay close to the hall entry. Public transport is conveniently located within walking distance of the hall. There is free unrestricted off-street parking also. The venue is a self-service model; all hirers are responsible for set up / pack down and cleaning of the venue before the conclusion of hire. I didn't go inside as there was an event on but you can look up the pictures of inside on the website.

Good little spot to take my older dogs for a run and play. Not too busy later in the day and they can get grumpy with the young whipper snappers. Next to Kruger Hall. The playground and basketball courts are popular and well maintained. 👌

This is your average local hall, set in a park. It is large enough to host a quite large event. There is a stage of approximately 1 or 1.5 metres. There are kitchen facilities in the side hall, with a couple of display fridges. It has parking for about 20 cars, with more space available on-street.

This is a little colonial style wooden community centre that is kept in good condition. It is bookable for events through moreton bay council at reasonable prices. It is right beside a large and beautifully maintained park, which has a dog area. It also has electric bbqs (no fee) right beside it, and a public toilet.

Great venue for a party. Would give it 5 stars if it had air con, but other than that it’s very good! Facilities are above average and it’s very clean and tidy, with a bonus playground out the back.
