First meal with family and friends at the Dag Pub. Fantastic atmosphere. Service excellent staff friendly bright bubbly and added to experience. Lots of room no crowding of tables. Food - good selection. Didn’t wait long, good serves, good prices, very tasty. Very authentic, true pub experience. Highly recommend

If you want to head to a amazing country pub with one of the best beer gardens I have ever seen this is the place to head to. Perfect for a date night or a cheeky Sunday session. Don't miss the Dag pub if you are up this way

Every time we come to The Dag for lunch we are guaranteed a great meal, great service and great ambience. The meals are always hot, fresh and delicious. The prices are affordable and their menu will please everyone at your table. Make it your next weekend day trip or your next pit stop, you can thank me later.
BTW, their chips are to die for. I only gave them a 4 star as I did not stay in their accommodation so I can only score on their restaurant.

Went to the Pub, NOT Motel. Went here to watch a live band, food & drinks were good. Had a big turn out without being squishy. Atmosphere was great. Would come back again.

First time at the Dag pub. Was very quiet due to a weekday lunch, but could tell it would have been a great atmosphere at night. Food was amazing. Ribs and wings were delicious and the chips were the best I've had for a long time.

We have stopped in shorty many times for our camping trips and also stayed in the motel before, Rooms are great, service was okay (Radiators gig) ... stopped by again on the Aus Day weekend (Saturday) the young girl behind the bar poured 2 schooners of beer that was well and truly over headed, when I asked her to fix them, she replied with "what's wrong" (head was over 3 fingers deep) .... the other young girl that was walking between the front bar, outside area and smoking area made me feel very unwelcome by the look and attitude she was portraying.
