Early ride up the bike way from Coolangatta to Currumbin. Always let the universe find breakfast spots and rode past an inviting café Kinship.
Found a table inside in the shade. The place had a relaxed vibe and always great to be in a café where everyone seems happy and friendly.
Simple menu but easy to choose from. Coffees came quickly and, wow, I tasted mine and waited for my wife to taste hers. “That is the best coffee I have had in a long time” she said and it was exactly what I thought when I tasted mine.

Food was not quick but I understood why as each meal was a masterpiece.

My wife wanted hard fried egg on toast, arrived as perfect. I had smashed avocado, (generous serve and well presented), and added mushrooms that I would recommend doing. Beautifully cooked down large portobello’s well-seasoned and included herbs.
The staff were friendly, and we were recharged for the bike ride back to Coolangatta.
Just thought I would mention we were on pedal power bikes unlike the numerous high speed electric cycles that speed past us oldies.

Ordered the Ricotta Hotcakes to share. They split it onto two separate plates, presented it beautifully as two separate dishes and it was yum! Good coffees, relaxed atmosphere, nice seating areas and friendly staff made for a very pleasant experience.

Can't beat great views with good food and coffee.

Social Coffee is used here, they make an excellent long black.
We love the Bacon, chicken and vego burgers. Also, it is accomdating if you are Keto or GF. They have GF buns available which are very tasty. Love this place. Definitely worth a try way better than shop down the rd 😄

Have been coming here for years but Kinship has gone down hill for the last few months. They have a new chef who can’t cook right.
I Have returned burnt eggs at least 5 times now.
Hashbrowns appear to be re-heated in a microwave and soggy.
Person serving cannot speak english and takes incorrect orders or forgets to add things

The breakfast burrito was the best one we’ve ever had, we had to have it two days in a row!! Such fresh ingredients and served with a delicious jalapeño salsa. The coffee was also fantastic and the nicest staff! Don’t miss out on a visit here. Highly recommend!!!

Great little hole in the wall cafe, excellent service and delicious food. Soba salmon salad was amazing and my partner loved the fried buffalo chicken burger. Definitely will be back!

Really enjoyed. staff were super friendly and welcoming, food was good and great value. Coffee was made perfectly, texture, taste and temperature was spot on. Pleasantly surprised and will be back again soon 😊
