We have just completed a four night stay at Ingleside Cottage with our two children. They thought it was a fabulous experience as did we. The beds were lovely and comfy to sleep in and the accommodation contained everything we needed to cook our own meals either inside our outside in the BBQ kitchen. The kitchen was kitted with breakfast essentials on our arrival with the farm fresh eggs being our favourite. The highlight for us though was what was beyond the cottage; the stunning horses, cheeky chickens, an expansive scenic property free to roam and explore, and the hospitality shown by Bruce and Gabby throughout our stay. They are very accommodating to families. Bruce has a great sense of humour and was more than willing to entertain the kids when they would track him down to see what he was up to. The horses at Ingleside are stunning, well looked after and Bruce and Gabby were happy for the kids to be around them. The kids also got to collect the daily eggs from the chickens and feed the goldfish. It is such a peaceful spot. We had a lovely stay and it was a perfect distance from the beaches and the National Parks for day trips. Thank you Bruce and Gabby, you made our stay very enjoyable!

Our family had an excellent long weekend stay in the Cottage at Ingleside.||On arrival Bruce and Gabby greeted us like old friends and opened their property up for us to explore. We made full use of the property, its facilities and spent much of our time with the animals. Bruce took the time out to guide us on a local bush walk and share his knowledge of the local flora and fauna, which we enjoyed.||The Historical Cottage itself was big enough for our family of four, was fully self contained and proved to be very comfortable. It had a nice front balcony, our car was under cover, and the setting was leafy and tranquil. The wifi (included) was surprisingly fast. The Cottage kitchen was small but thoughtfully equipped, although we ate most meals in the BBQ hut while enjoying its elevated views. We also enjoyed Bruce and Gabby cooking dinner (T Bone and Salmon) for us for two nights and their home cooking was delicious, plentiful and reasonably priced. Remember to order with Gabby in advance of your stay. ||One of our daytime activities was to split some firewood so we could sit around the fire drum after dinner and it was lovely when Bruce and Gabby could join us for a couple of nightcaps. The homestead had new colour-changing LEDs that added a bit of night time theatre. ||Our kids explored the property and occasionally returned with some bounty (limes, mandarins, native ginger, macadamias, fresh eggs). They had a great time collecting the eggs with Bruce and grooming the horses with Gabby. We felt privileged to be able to spend so much time with Gabby's four horses, but as always you should remain cautious around these magnificent animals as they can get a little fractious especially when you carry around their favorite treat (carrots) in your pocket. The kids had a rare opportunity to watch the farrier re-shoe Albie, and they came away with a well used horse shoe each.||Overall we had a great time and would recommend staying here for a quiet bush getaway.

Bruce and Gabby were so welcoming, and showed us around their farm. We got to feed their beautiful horses. They prepared the most delicious dinner for us, and it was a pleasure spending time with them, and hearing all about their farm. Beautiful surroundings, and so very peaceful there. The house is spotless too. They are environmentally friendly ... make their own almond milk, free range eggs from their free range chickens, home grown vegetables, fruit off their trees etc.

Wow!! Just wow. Bruce and Gabby made our family trip spectacular. We stayed in the cottage and I had depression on check out. You must try the meals there!!! Food was to die for, and every bottle of wine I purchased was amazing. I felt like I was visiting family and was so relaxed and felt so comfortable being there. Even the other guests were amazing. Was not disappointed with anything. (Except I had to leave). We have decided to make Ingleside our Easter holiday spot.

I stayed in the cottage which is a beautiful piece of history. It is very comfortable and exceptionally clean. The hosts Bruce & Gabby are very welcoming. The cottage is near the main house but still very private. Thank you for a lovely stay.

On our way back to Sydney with meetings in Yatala, GC Airport and Yamba, Ingleside Stud Farm provided the perfect overnight stay. From the friendly greeting by Birthday girl Gabby to the wave goodbye by Bruce, our stay afforded us 5 star comfort with gorgeous hinterland rainforest views all immersed in the local history carefully sourced, archived and passed on by historian Gabby. Thank you Bruce and Gabby for sharing your gracious home and heritage.

We recently stayed at Ingleside Stud Farm for a 6 day break. We loved the experience. It was close to Burleigh Heads & surrounding attractions. The facilities were great & the hosts Bruce & Gabrielle, were very friendly & accomodating to our needs. This is a share house but an enjoyable experience. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks very much.
